Sandy Hook, Newton, Conn. Why have the reports of wounded not come out?

I am almost sorry to ask this but here goes. Why weren't there any reports of wounded at the Sandy Hook, Newton site? That just does not make sense. If the answer is there were not any, then I am very concerned.

I actually asked my husband the same thing yesterday. I also hate to say it like this but how did he kill everyone he shot? What ae the chances of that? Was he that good (awful I know) of a shot? How would such a young person be that accurate? So many unanswered questions to this. Makes me very sad!

That is too weird to believe. Something is out there that we are not being told.

From what I understand, those who were shot were shot multiple times. I don't know if anyone who was injured actually survived.

That is like impossible. Unless one of two things: He had time to administer up close kill shots, or they were left wounded until they died. First responders are about 1 minute out in urban areas, maximum 5, we are taught that in first aid classes.

I saw an early interview with one of the doctors at the hospital so I think they did sent some to the hospital to be stabilized and they did not survive, since they mentioned parents waiting to hear news only to find out their children were dead. But the news coverage has been atrocious. Mostly speculation except the body count! Seems they cared more about headlines than the facts.

How many people survive a massacre with an automatic weapon, they are built to kill as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time. A good weapon for a war! And a valued toy for some.

""How many people survive a massacre with an automatic weapon, they are built to kill as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time."" I am trying to get people to understand that the above comment is incorrect. That is not the purpose.

Really, What other purpose does a weapon like that have other than to kill;and to kill fast. For a soldier or law enforcement officer it may save his life and those of others! For a civilian it is a toy!

Justsilvie, No that is a misconception. If an assault weapon serves the purpose of killing it is totally random. Police do not use them period. Police set up groups to use them /s.w.a.t. Soldiers rarely kill with them. It is never a toy. Not to kill.

I put them under the heading "toy" for people who buy them and have no legitimate use for them other than to own them. Like the ones rushing out to buy them now just so they can say they own them in case they ban  the ownership of this type of weapon

Think deeper.  These are not pet rocks or cabbage patch dolls. They are not ipads or Ipods. They have specific military purpose and no civilian purpose.  Most would survive an attack. Few would survive assassination later. Unless time intervened.

Eric I totally agree with you! They have no other purpose other than military, the word "Toy" is said with sarcasm.  I am not even sure why in the world they are on the open market?
