   Why do Republicans and Democrats continue to fight?
   
   The election is over. Obama was elected by both a popular vote and majority electoral vote (not that popular vote counts). Why do people still continue to argue about Mitt Romney vs Obama? Is the Obama administration really hurting you? In what ways?

   Because it's part of the script. I believe wherever in the world there are two parties competing they're bound to do such dramas. It's up to us to read between the lines.

   Much of the Constitution is gone already. They're chipping away at it slowly enough that most people don't even notice. Those who do notice are called "alarmists."
   
   I suspect the same thing happened in Germany 80 years ago.
   
   Voting was dead in the last presidential conventions -- both Democrats and Republicans. When the votes didn't go the way they had scripted, they merely ignored the votes and followed the script. At the Democratic convention, the poor Los Angeles mayor didn't know how to respond to tyranny.
   
   I'm glad I discovered the ugly truth a little over a year ago. Of course, I had the benefit of not being bombarded by Corporate Party media on a daily basis, living in the Philippines for the last 5 years.
   
   Do your own research.
   
   When you're ready, walk away from the Corporate addiction. Deprive them of their dollars. You don't need all that junk. You don't need their packaged food with its poisons making you sick and susceptible to ever higher rates of cancer.
   
   It looks like the Corporate Party is going to get its wish. With the national debt now skyrocketing past $17 Trillion, the Debt Bubble will be bursting soon and the chaos they want will give them the leverage to make all the final changes they need, including get rid of the 2nd Amendment and then move in martial law to "protect" us into slavery.
   
   Then watch out for those RFID chips to be implanted in your hands. That's the final nail of slavery.

   Democrats and Republican argue because Republicans are right and Democrats are wrong. Oops, no, that's not correct. The parties fight because Democrats are right and Republicans are wrong.
   
   We can't get together for a myriad of reasons. Personally, I think there are too many politicians and pundits that have gotten and continue to reap in huge monetary profits by causing a divide of the masses.
   
   The main thing to remember is the "US" in the United States of America.

   I don’t have a problem with the arguments it is how they argue.
   
   No other president has ever been treated with the disrespect this one has nor had to fight harder to try to fill the promises to the people who elected him.  The republicans in congress are going to fulfill the or goal to stop anything put out by Obama no matter what the people say, and the ones who stand to lose the most seem to support them the hardest.
   
   Read some blogs from my home state and the one I currently live in and wondered if a portion of this country has always had sheets tucked in their closets just waiting to put them to use. It’s disgusting and sad because I really thought “we the people” were above all this.

   They argue because in some ways they are protecting their own political interest.  And in some instances they genuine disagree on ideology and policy.  Both parties have some members that are true believers and stand up for their principals. I believe that men like Dennis Kucinich & Rand Paul, while polar opposites in viewpoints, do believe in and try to act on their principals.  However, there in the minority.  But for the most part their is no difference between country club republicans and the mainstream democrats.  They are both interested in expanding the size and scope of Gov't.  Just maybe at a different pace in different areas.  Neither of the parties Washington insiders are interested in limiting the role of gov't in our lives and creating a more self sufficient society. 
   
   The second part of your question is yes.  His administration is hurting all of us in more than a few ways.  Primarily, he has created the most anti business climate I have ever encountered.  As a result, business owners, large and small have been more reluctant than anytime in recent history to increase capital expenditures.  The collective of corporate America is sitting on 2 trillion in cash that they are unwilling to invest out of pure fear of gov't.  That is saying something considering that cash on corporate balance sheets in this low interest rate environment actually generates a negative real return on cash.  That means business owners would rather lose a little money then invest it in a new venture.  That is bad for all of us.  Without capital formation and increased capital expenditures the labor market will continue to stagnate.  And since the last quarter was a negative print on GDP, we only need the current quarter to print another negative and we are officially back in recession.  Which is something I have been predicting to my clients since Jan 2012 would happen by the end of Q4 2012.  While a second recession in 5 years is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of economic cycles, it is when you haven't experienced any real recovery from the last contraction. The more severe the contraction, the more robust the recovery is unless the gov't smothers economic activity.  This will continue until the clowns in Washington learn the first three rules in economics...
   
   1. Incentive matters.
   2. Capital goes where it is most welcome. 
   3.Capital stays where it is treated best.
   
   Either they don't care, or are simply incompetent.  I think it's a little of both.

      2008 was the Apex of the govt creating atificial demand with the GSE's subsidizing the MBS market in order to make sure poor people could afford homes. It was govt induced social engineering that orignated back to the CRA Act in 1977. You're way off

   There is a fundamental difference between the two parties. In fact when I was young and they actually taught History, Government, and Civics in school, you could see that this fight has been going on since before our country began.
   Democrats believe in Democracy, it is what they continually push. That is the reason they continually push for our elections to be decided by popular vote. The Republicans continually push to bring us back to the republic we were designed to be. Our forefathers tossed out the idea of democracy, because the majority is not always right. If the majority was always right, the southern democrats would still have slaves.
   Our forefathers chose a republic style of government. Each state is equal in the Senate with 2 Senators. The house has 435 members delegated out by the population of each state.
   We have to realize that our founding fathers designed our federal government to make it almost impossible to pass laws and bills. They were afraid of a powerful federal government, because the country we had just fought had a powerful centralized government.
   Our country was designed with liberty and freedom as its banner. Every bill passed, every law passed, cuts into the very freedom and liberty that they fought for.
   Every law takes away our freedom of choice. Every bill that is passed cuts into our liberty.
   "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal. They are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
   The Democrats were the people against equal rights, the Republicans fought for equal rights under Lincoln.
   The Democrats, including our present leaders, think that they are more enlightened than most. They think that they know what's best for society.
   The Republicans trust the people to know what is best for the country. They also trust the people to spend their own money.
   Just mathematically private money businesses and employees make up 51% of the workforce in the US. 49% are public employees, from president to trash collector. 51% is paying the wages and benefits of the 49% with taxes and fees.
   That in itself is not sustainable, then you add up the pensions and the give aways and our federal government has spent itself into a 16 trillion dollar hole.
   I personally believe we should vote everyone out and start over.
   Can it get any worse?
