So true Blue, why can't Americans control their spending?
Clayton Hartford says
But, the "TEA" party is the RICH, who manage to skate out of their tax obligations, leaving the middle class to bear the burden of the funding. The middle class is disappearing in this country; the rich get richer, the poor only get poorer.
Ahhh only if you want to believe that Dizzy go right ahead, all the TEA Party rally's I've seen are normal folks are tired of all the taxes. Obama said he WANTED to see the Bush Tax cuts expire, and when I did my taxes this year, I owed more.

I agree 100%. They are offering 2 cuts to every tax increase. They want to close the deferred interest loophole, which is a give-away the pols gave to the tycoons. Not to mention the farm and oil subsidies, which aren't even touched. It's ridiculous!
"Dear blame-it-on-both-sides pundits: Ask top Rs what ratio of spending cuts to new revenues they'd accept. Just ask them."
The answer is none.
"new revenue" = A dem's way of saying higher taxes, which is unnecessary if enough cuts are made.
The Republicans call them "fees," the Democrats call them "taxes." The end result is identical--more money drained from OUR pockets, while the filthy rich find multiple loopholes and avoid paying their share.
The rich already pay more than us. I don't fully agree with the rep or dems. I support a flat tax. The real problem lies in the fact the government controls (pays for) too much. Cutting is the solution, nothing else.
The rich may pay "more" than us, but not proportionally so....
Dizzy, why should they pay proportionally more, have you ever done taxes it is called Tax brackets, if you make more you pay more, plain and simple, why is that so hard for people to understand, even a flat rate tax, 10% is 10% what more do you want?
