Well, it really can't be "expanded". Government can only take away right; it can't grant them. I would argue just about every gun law in the country is unconstitutional. We don't need gun laws; we need to prosecute violent crime.

Maybe its because I live in a rural area, but regardless of party, just about everyone in my area is pro-2nd Amendment. And to be honest, I cant think of any friends of mine that don't own at least 1 gun.

Rights do not come from government. The Second Amendment is clear and it is not about foreign invaders but rather the government itself.No foreign invader was more brutal to the Russian,Chinese,Vietnamese,etc...than their own government.
