   I would definitely stop and help. And I would hope someone would do the same for me, my loved ones, friends, etc. I don't know how anyone could just walk on by with a clear conscience? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

   I would like to think I would stop and help. It depends on tbe situation. If there is vang related issues I would be less inclined to help.

      If you had no connection with that person how could you decide whether they were worthy of you help or not? Shouldn't we just have a default setting to help and not to judge?

      We should Silverspeeder, but I don't have a default. I judge each situation differently. I do not have a blanked rule to help all people dying in the street. I help only those I can get to and only those that will not endanger my own safety.

   I'd stop to help and do what I could and call 911. I'd hope anyone would do the same. Scary thought that there are people that wouldn't!

      I worked on nightclub doors for about 30 years and I will tell you that you would be suprised how many people walk past an injured person. I have even seem them stepping over someone to get to the taxi.

      Dear me. Sad and shocking. I'd never be able to sleep or have a moments rest if I did not help my fellow man. Makes me wonder how some become or simply just are so totally careless...

   This is a great question.  We had a case here where a man was in the middle of the street and people videotaped it and just stood there.  It took a while for anyone to call 911.  I think that was just awful.
   
   I've often said that if I was laying injured in the street, I doubt anyone would notice around here.  And I'm being serious.  I would certainly stop and help.

      Wow, videotaping instead of helping. There's got to be a special place in hell for people like that! You must have been so scared for the person!

   I always make it a point to stop and help anyone in need. It is strange that some people walk or drive by. It is nothing out of my day to help a person in need. I would hope that if I needed help that someone would stop to assist me.

   I've had this happen, and of course I stopped! I parked my car so that it would prevent other cars from hitting her, then quickly helped the woman out of the middle of the street where she'd fallen. Then I called her husband to come pick her up while a neighbor of mine, who is a nurse, checked her health and recommended that she see a doctor soonest. We (the nurse and I) stayed with her and held on to the leash of her little dog until her husband arrived in their car from where they lived a few blocks away. Where she fell, however, it was only lucky someone didn't run over her and/or her little dog (coming over a hill and around a corner).

   Have to stop It is the only humane thing to do - help as much as you can in the circumstances  - How could you live with yourself if you just walked past ?

   I would stop to help without fail and on the way call for EMS and/or police officers if needed. Now that you have asked, it strikes me that there are many who would walk on by. That is so sad.

    I would have to stop and see if I could help or at least call someone to help.
    I don't think anyone should be left lying in the street bleeding.

    I would definitely stop and try to help as much as I can. I don't think anyone with a heart would just pass by.

    I will call for help first before assisting the person. If the situation does not permit me to move him then I will wait for the ambulance or ask for instructions and advice.
