So your basis that Bush was divisive is "Americans were tired of war. They wanted job growth. They wanted to decrease the country's debt." Obama has a worse record on all those categories. You said it - "after the Bush era" That's during Obama's term
I think it was after the Bush era. Yes. I think people were disgruntled. I'm stating this as neutral as possible without trying to create division among either party. LOL. Just my observations.
My point is the reasons you give for Bush being divisive are many times worse under the Obama administration so wouldn't you say Obama was even more devisive? War hasn't stopped, real unemployment 2-3 times worse than Bush, Debt is thru the roof!
The point in time where American became divided was after Bush. Why do I say that? Because they didn't re-elect a Republican. Bear in mind though, I'm not against Bush. I was just making observation.

The left attacked Ron just as much but the left didn't control the Democrap Party like now, ...Ronny Reagan was a friend of mine. Governor Bush, you're no Ronny Reagan:-) but. Bush vrs Obama - Obama tries to divide, Bush tried to unite.
I don't disagree with you, and maybe I'm senile, but I don't recall anybody issuing daily calls for Reagan's execution/assassination, do you?
The left went after Reagan for sure, but not like they did Bush.
