The greatest fear of most people is the possible losing of their identities by joining the ranks of the hybrids in our society. For some reason people consider their own particular "race" as more special than the others, so they fear losing that identity to history.
Personally i think interracial marriages are the best thing to happen to the human race. When all races are combined into one, there will be no more fighting based on race, or nationality. Wouldn't that be a wonderful society to live in?
However, this is only a dream for a more peaceful society. When we get to know people of other races, there is less apprehension when they co-mingle, and have children together.
The children of interracial couples may have a more difficult time in "fitting in" to either of the races their parents belong to. But when they grow to adulthood they realize that those fears are really unimportant.
So, the best way for society to overcome this uncomfortableness is to learn to accept others who are different from them as equal in all respects. And then passing the pride of being part of such a beautiful diverse society down to their children.
As you state: we are all part of the human race and as such we are all equal, and all beautiful inside and out. And the insane judging of others, for ANY reason, must be overcome for any kind of peace on this planet
