What will you do now that you know the President lied about the Affordable Health Care and you have
you find yourself without a doctor? 18 USC-Section 1035:
(a) Whoever, in any matter involving a health care benefit program, knowingly and willfully - (1) falsifies...by scheme, or device a material fact; or (2) makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statements or representations...in connection with the delivery of or payment for health care benefits...shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.(b) As used in this section, the term "health care benefit program" has the meaning given such term in section 24(b) of this title.
What do you think?
Didn't you hear? Obama cleared that up !
Obama: "What We Said Was You Can Keep It If It Hasn't Changed Since The Law Passed"
But what he didn't say in his "non-apology" was "You Can Keep Your Doctor if He Hasn't Changed Since The Law Passed" SO YEAH EVERYTHING HE SAID ABOUT THE WHOLE THING IS A LIE AND HE CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT IT TODAY CLAIMING HE WASN'T AWARE THE ROLLOUT WASN'T READY AND IF HE KNEW HE WOULD HAVE POSTPONED IT - the man can't open his mouth without lying.
So since I believe administration officials can't be sued for lying to the public the only recourse is to petition the White House for him to seek rehab from his pathological affliction to LIE and then lie about lying. Maybe he can join the Mayor of Toronto in his rehab. Despite all the mayor's problems he can probably help the president in group therapy to admit he has never told the truth about anything. Seems he really loves Canada, their tech companies, their healthcare system - yeah send Obama, blessed be his name, there - I'd say about 3 years of therapy would help him, and not to mention help America for the next three years...
One of the charges brought against Richard Nixon in his impeachment was lying to the American people. The typical indictment of an elected official need not be restricted to the letter of the law, after all, what is a "high crime or misdemeanor?"
YES - he is now trying to cover his deceitful and illegal acts. The House and Senate should impeach him for this. But as usual, the Senate will state it is not applicable to him and the House will bow to the political pandering. middle-class loses
I don't know anything about the Heath Care System in the USA other than what I've learned by hearsay over the years. What I have heard is that it has always been extremely expensive when it comes to medical operations and hospital care, so much so that many just could not afford it. Certainly one hears of people visiting the USA getting sick and having to go to US hospitals having to sell their homes to pay the ridiculously high bills the medicos charge. This is outrageous!
Obama is endeavoring to change this. The way I see it HE DOES CARE for the people of America - all of 'em, not just the wealthy. Hence he is trying to bring in a health scheme so that ALL are sheltered from the extreme greed of so many in the medical field. Give the guy a chance!
If Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most of Europe can afford to look after their people with at least reasonably affordable heath costs, why the hell can't the 'Land of the Free'? The USA is supposedly one of the world's leading nations. Well, quite frankly, in many areas of social support and benefits for its poorer people, it is almost Third World.
Of course any changes of real benefit to the majority of the population is always opposed by those that like it the way it is - the one's who are making a lot of money from the status quo. And don't under estimate this sort of opposition. It is what has been keeping America as a largely 'unfair' society for a long time now.
The only thing you said that is true is "I don't know anything about the Heath Care System in the USA" Obamacare does nothing it was promised to do and if you don't know that you know nothing. I'd suggest before answer with hearsay you get the facts
The roll out took place as scheduled. The mechanism did not work, but you could still file applications by paper or talking to an agent, as I did.
"If you like your plan you can keep it." That was not the right thing to say. He should have said that if you like your plan, and it meets the minimum standards of the Affordable Care Act you can keep it.
I worked for a major department store last Christmas, in the hope of a part-time job full time. I soon found out, there were only three full-time employees at the store, the manager and two men in hardware who had been there for years. One is now on Social Security and is cutting his hours back. Soon there will only be two full-time employees. They hire a lot of part time people so they do not have to offer a credible policy. Restaurants do this to waiters and pay them less than minimum wage because of tips. There are a lot of inequities in the work force. has been going on before Obamacare was enacted. I did not realize it because I had a great policy that exceeded Obamacare. I do not have it any more. If you repeal the plan, you leave me without the ability to purchase decent insurance because of my age and prior health conditions. Does anybody really think that is the answer? Some people do not like the President and are looking for a reason to scuttle his plan. We all have to be a little bigger. George W. said "no new taxes" and then passed a tax on gasoline. Clinton said,"I never had sex with that woman."
Nixon said, "I am not a crook."
How many times have you said something you thought was correct, only to find out later you were wrong or working on faulty information.
Obamacare may not be the answer. For me, and many more like me, it is at least a temporary fix. Let's not throw it out the window until we have a replacement prepared.
"said something you thought was correct" what are you kidding me - for 4 years on your signature HC plan? Larry, c'mon even a child knows that is lying esp. when everyone, even his staff told him it was a lie. Denial is not an attractive trait, Larry

I have been listening to how the government has a billion dollars for getting people to sign up for the Affordable Healthcare Act. Would that money have been better spent training more doctors and building new hospitals? New Jersey has closed how many community hospitals in the last few...
