Your analysis is quite interesting and realistic. Thank you so much for contributing to this thread. The whole world is anxiously awaiting some accurate information that can give at least some understanding and closure...especially for family.

I've yet to google that and I'm seriously curious about Christmas Island now that you mentioned it to me! Look, SFAM, IF, in fact, anything comes up to involve this island and the lost jet.....YOU will either spook me out or be my private psychic!!
No, she is just a secret agent that goes there every weekend to check out the terrain! lol!
You haven't googled the island yet?? It's just a bit north of the "supposed objects" that they are "trying" to retrieve. I don't want to be right...I'd spook myself!
Hey Nell...Wanna join me next time I head out that way? lol
Okay, on my way Linda, just getting my secret spy pen and tracking device on my buttons ready! lol!

pippap.....If you believe the plane crashed "in many pieces," it's highly doubtful "anyone" is waiting to be discovered.....Yes?
I don't believe that death is the end of it all. When I say the passengers are out there waiting - I mean dead or alive. I believe that the spirits of those dead were waiting for their bodies to be found.
pippap....I see. Yes, you're correct in this. I was not considering this at the time. I truly hope your "belief" is 100% correct. I "teeter" in my faith on this issue. My loss of joy, I'm sure.

btrbrll......"Crazy," is a good choice of words for this mystery!
Yes. With all the advancements in satellite and observation technology, pinpointing what happened to a plane is a piece of cake. I'm sure the Malaysian government is hiding something. Let's just pray that it's worth lying for.

Exactly, Alpha. Seems we all get very tired of being considered idiots. Much makes no sense, simply because there is no sense to be made. Even when this has been solved...can we trust that anything is true?

My heart breaks for the families. This is one of those nightmare situations, we dread to even imagine! (It is sad and disappointing when governments mislead, lie and cover-up) Rarely do we get truth!)

gitachud.....Please google the "chris Goodfellow" for the news that Foodeee (above) ha shared. Makes a LOT of sense.
I have been watching it Paula, sad stuff, but I am glad that its been found, at least now they can start trying to figure out what happened.
It sounds horrendous for the families. I tried to empathize, and found myself picturing the terror that the victims in the aircraft would have been feeling. I had to stop that thought process as quickly as I could. The families won't be able to.
Nell & Thomas.....Showing us all, once again how very tenuous life is. We just never ever know. One minute we are here...and the next......
Be happy, loving and healthy each day. That's all we can do. It's all that really matters.
So true Paula, this just goes to show how we never know. I just lost my best friend this week, so yes I totally agree with you.
The announcement they prefer to announce has been made. How do we know how factual that announcement is? They haven't found the plane...there is no proof to their theory.
I get the impression that they do know, but as per usual, they cannot give out details until all the details are in place, but they know.
Exactly Nell. There are some things that the public doesn't need to know...but don't fabricate stories or tell tall tales because we are not stupid.
OH Nell...I am so sorry for your loss.....it is so sad to lose a best friend...I KNOW. Sending you a big warm hug.
I completely agree....horribly tragic. But, at least the families, while many still hanging on to that last shred of hope, are not in limbo anymore.

tsmog...Thank you for your in-depth comment. I appreciate your thoughts on this mystery.....that actually remains a mystery, unless and until there are solid facts and explanations we can hold true. So many lives.....very sad.
Hello fpherj48. This morning I watched the latest news. Over the duration I have seen a wife local here in San Diego interviewed several times. She shared hope the first and the latest. I hope along with her.
