Why would the narrative change? He walked away from his post and joined the Taliban. At least 6 good men lost their lives trying to find him. Probably more. Obama released 5 tier 1 persons in exchange for what he knew was a deserter. These are facts.
The only fact is that you have no actual idea what happened to Bergdahl, why he did what he did, if anyone died looking for him, what the threat assessment is on the released prisoners, or what handling will be in place to monitor them.
Wrong. He deserted, why is irrelevant. 6 soldiers died during the search for him, that is documented fact. At least one of the detainees has already stated he will return to the fight and none of them are under any type of security. Try again.
You evidently don't know what desertion means. You obviously also don't know what a fact is. I'm not going to waste time on your fantasies. I'll wait for actual evidence and facts before proclaiming truths like an imbecile.
Really? I served 8 years in the USMC and I do know what desertion means, I am certain you don't. DoD investigation said in 2010 that he deserted, are you saying now that report is not true? For you to deny those 6 men died searching is despicable.
Really? Wow, I served 8 minutes on my computer and learned more than you. Desertion requires intent, which is unknown and all you know about the classified report is anonymous hearsay, which only said he walked off. Despicable is claims w/o knowledge
Really? Intent? HE WALKED OFF AND LEFT A NOTE SAYING HE WAS LEAVING. How's that for intent? The fact that DoD determined he deserted is not classified. It was released publicly. I know you want to protect your boy, but there is no saving him from it.
I want to protect reality and facts. His status was missing-captured: http://www.defense.gov/Releases/Release.aspx?Relea... and the note is a rumor at best. As I said, I prefer waiting for credible information before making judgements.
I happen to know from a reliable inside source, that not only did he desert his post, but was planning (and succeeded) to give information to the Taliban. I also know there is a ton of cash being thrown around. That's all I can say right now.
That's fine. You may have special knowledge, but the general public has been given almost zero credible, specific facts about this case and claiming otherwise is just plain wrong. Innocence should be defended until PROVEN guilty.
