I don't think it's right for people to do ill deeds for money. I hear + see "money is the root of all evil" in a variety of places but a closer look shows a lack of standards and a real or perceived lack of money are much more likely.

Good point. I ask this because in regards to money so many demonize it. I see it as a positive tool, a resource that can spread good deeds, provide freedom, positive experiences and opportunity.
Good point, I guess that would be all of the above unfortunately. What I do not understand his the quote "money is the root of all evil" and why an inanimate object is blamed for ill deeds.

I completely agree.
I did not quote the bible, I quoted what others commonly say which is flawed thinking. Perhaps I should have worded it differently in that some choose to do ill deeds because of a real or imaginary lack of money.
