Are you aware of the hundreds of bills passed by the House that now languish in the Democrat Senate or that the vast majority of legislation the President Obama has signed originated in the House? Harry Reid is the culprit, not Republicans.
retief, many of the bills passed in congress were sent to the Senate for the very reason that they knew it wouldn't get passed. That is a very old tactic. Also, most bills are suppose to originate in the House. Only budget concerns are for the Senate
Spending measures originate in the House. Treaties and foreign affairs are more the focus of the Senate, though it still has to pass on the House measures (or not.) and confirmation of presidential nominations.
Arco, NO - financial bills are to originate in the House, otherwise it doesn't matter where a bill originates.Treaties are negotiated by the Executive and submitted for approval in the Senate. Otherwise the chamber of origin doesn't matter.

Nothing like fading faith in the very same electorate that has awarded Barrack Obama the White House twice, just like GWB.
That wasn't me either, though, Obama is vastly superior to Bush or the ridiculous McCain or Romney. Really, we need to have a much higher bar all around, but like I said, in a FOX News country, that isn't going to happen.
Fox was the most watched cable news in 2008 and 2012 - the years of Obama's victories. If Obama is so amazing we did members of his own party run away from him prior to this election?
I said better, not amazing, and also unpopular. Of course people kept their distance.
How is Fox News even a factor when any of the 3 broadcast networks eclipse Fox News ratings for news. How is Fox News even factor when as many people read the NYT as watch Fox News? The Huffington Post gets as many hits as Fox News does viewers.
We are all weighed down by the weakest link.
Apparently the weakest link is Barrack Obama and the Clintons. I hope their ineffectiveness and alienation of voters continues for years to come. The entire Arkansas delegation is now Republican and Illinois has a new Republican governor.
Such a strong counter argument - Obama lost this midterm for his party and they all know it. The Clintons are surprisingly weak.29 of the 30 Senators who supported Obamacare are gone. The House has the largest Republican majority since 1947.
This midterm was lost by gerrymandering, being a midterm, and being heavily GOP-leaning and had little, if anything, to do with any of FOX's favorite delusions.
Polls have Hilary easily beating any challenger. How is that weak?
Gerrymandering had nothing to do with the GOP winning in the midterm-do a little research. The polls got this entire midterm wrong and HIllary is too damaged to win anything and there will be no GOP circular fire squad next time around.
Calling Hilary a weak candidate and not understanding that she is damaged only to irrelevant voters is a good example of the FOX News dumbification that I was referring to.
Interesting, I don't have cable. Hard to be "dumified" by something one cannot consume. What is an irrelevant voter, the only ones irrelevant are non-voters - you know, the ones Obama says he represents. An imperial impulse on display.
did anyone know that the democrats held congress since 2006. and are we still going to blame a particular party responsible. I don't believe that a news organization should be held responsible for the action and decisions that we make as an indivdual
You are correct. The media isn't responsible, people paying attention to them are. And FOX news is meant as code for the entire cabal of stupidity. It isn't just them by a longshot, they are just the biggest.
Than they have done a fantastic job turning everyone stupid in just 6 short years. From BRILLIANT in 2008 to stupid in 2010, back to BRILLIANT in 2012 and finally back to profoundly stupid in 2014. Amazing!!
Don't know who "they" is since I clearly agreed with the notion that the individual is responsible for their own ignorance. Not sure what all this brainpower flip-flopping is about either. Our voting has been dumb for a long time.
