What does "righteous indignation" mean in your life and/or politics?

    What does "righteous indignation" mean in your life and/or politics?

    My neighbor and I got into a casual discussion in which I mentioned the word "angry about it".  She felt that anger does no good and my 60s passion for and understanding of "righteous indignation" reared it's argumentative head.  I told her that anger has the power to motivate and make changes.  She saw no reason to get angry at almost anything in life, especially not the social system.  Your views?

    Anger definitely has its place. Properly directed anger can help accomplish great things both in society and in one's own personal life. Anger does not always help in every case, but it does have legitimate purposes.
