It's easy to blame the corporations. However, that is an argument that comes from envy, rather than one of reason and principle. The simple reality is that we let them, and these sorts of rationale that it's all about the big corporations and we can't do anything is one big cop out and self fulfilling prophecy. It's not difficult to incorporate or at the very least, create a political action group. It can be difficult to keep it together, especially if you are going against the current status quo. But are you willing to state what you believe and hold true to that in your actions? This is ultimately where many modern conservatives and traditionalists fall apart. This was also why liberals fell apart in the early to mid 2000s, because they didn't hold a solid front for nearly a decade, until they rallied behind Obama. And yet, they didn't get everything they wanted from him either - even though they certainly got a pretty good free range to do major carnage upon our land and weaken us abroad.
Conservatives need a strong front, and especially one that counters the current liberal status quo that keeps pushing us further on the trail of full on socialism, none like we have seen since the Nazis. We don't want a servile State, we want individuals to have control of their destiny, but we also want to make sure that what is good, truly ethical, and sacred are protected. The United States was founded on natural rights, not legislated ones. The further down we go on the current path of destroying the natural rights for the wants and desires of the lustful and greedy, the closer we come to removing our society from its core values and enslaving us to our vices. We abolished slavery that denied the natural right of humans the property of their souls, denying them as being human beings with souls. Do we want to be enslaved again by those that deny there is God and a soul and moral nature of man to be saved to begin with?
