What feasible solutions politically & socioeconomically do you propose that Black people should take
in order to decrease incidences of police shootings, violence, even police brutality in Black American communities?
I believe to solve this problem, there needs to be education all around. First, police should be given a thorough emotional evaluation as well as intense training in conflict management. Also, they need to lose the bad attitude. I understand they deal with negativity all day, but that is what they signed up for. If they want to be around happy people all day, they should be a game show host or something.
As for training in the African American Community, the only education I would suggest don't run or fight back. This seems to be the common denominator in all of these shootings. It sucks to get hassled by police. I am a white guy that drives a minivan and I have gotten pulled over by police on a few occasions and given BS. Most police I come across are rude and don't do themselves any favors by having such a bad attitude, which they say is from daily confrontations. I say they are partly to blame because the bad cops give good cops a bad name. My brother always said if someone wants to help the community by being a policeman or fireman; choose the fireman because nobody likes cops and everyone likes firemen.
"don't run or fight" stop being so sensible or is that now considered racist. In nearly every situation we have seen a black man killed by police, or even in the Trayvon Martin case, it is because someone ran from the police or fought.
All things done reflect the heart condition, who can salvage the spiral conditions of this world system going under. No one can
This world system run by satan is coming to its final end. We should be preparing for all things under Jesus Rule in Government,
Good government means happy people, means no sickness, no death, return of people we love.
Personally the question should be rephrased. I would ask what feasible solutions should the citizens propose for police departments across America in order to decrease incidences of shooting, killing and brutalizing minorities in economically depressed areas. The issue is a militarized, mainly white police force not understanding the culture, the economics and the demographics of a black community.
Baltimore PD is 55% black, Mayor is black, Police Chief is black, most of city leadership is black. But it's whitey's fault?
Super. It is funny how the news didn't post the 55%#. That is why most people usually assume it is the other way. Thank you 4 providing the facts instead of just an automatic opinion.
The question didn't mention the city of Baltimore which is the exception and not the general rule.
Ahh. I see. It just so happens that the city that is currently burning because of tension from a police officer shooting a black man doesn't really count in your statement because it is the exception. Got it! lol
Detroit? Nearly every recent incident is a consequence of not complying with a legal order or actually attack a police officer. It seems the problem begins when the suspect-white or black, there have been plenty of both-refuses to obey peaefully
Move to traditionally white communities, get married, stay married and raise a family together with your great-grandparents value system.

Why is saying #AllLivesMatter considered racist?I see this everywhere: on Twitter, on forums, and on the news. I am asking this out of pure curiosity and confusion, because I don't see anything racist about the statement/hashtag.

There appears to be a controversy over the statement, "Black Lives Matter."It seems that to say "All lives matter" is taken as a denial of the Black Lives Matter truth, even if it is immediately followed by an emphasis that of course black lives matter too.Maybe one explanation...

White cops shoot blacks because blacks are violent? Or White Cops are racists? What's your view?Among those we do know were shot by police, black teens were 21 times more likely to be shot dead than their white counterparts.“The 1,217 deadly police shootings from 2010 to 2012 captured in the...
