Do YOU strongly argue that there is a war on young Black men by the police in America?
Eastern Command BPD Sargent
“I have been to five calls today and three of those five calls for service; I have been challenged to a fight. Some of them I blew off but one of them almost got ugly. I don’t want anybody to say that I did not tell them what is going on. This is no intel this is really what’s going on the street. This is my formal notification. It is about to get ugly.”
Who is at war with who? Blacks are 12.6% of US population but commit 72% of all violent crime, there is no war, there is only being honest and prudent about the problem. Over 90% of blacks that are murdered are murdered by other blacks. Acting like this is not the case because it is not politically correct is cowardice.
In this time we are living people think that the lost of life is just restricted to humans but their is a war
Reference Bible
Eph 6:12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. we can not see with our literal eyes , it is spiritual more so,
Satan is attacking life , notice world events that take large numbers of life.
But Remember the damage done by him will be undone
Many will return in the resurrection hope
New World Translation
Ac 24:15 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Gm, I am going to call it like I see it and hope I don't offend anyone in the process. There IS a war on young black men, but it is BY young black men!!!
Current situation, Freddie Gray, I doubt his death had to do with his race and more likely had to do with cops wanting to have control over someone. 3 of the 6 police charged were also black.
The streets filled with riots, mostly, young black people. Most did not do the educated thing. They did not do the legal thing. No they chose to rob and hurt people!
We live in a time where college is available for everyone, jobs are available, homes out of ghettos are available, yet young black men in many areas seem to think that it is not their responsibility to do anything for themselves. They want to be treated fairly, but then go riot a CVS. They are hurting themselves. I don't understand it.
Can a black person please answer something for me? If these young black men want to be treated fairly, why are there so many who seem to care more about being thugs, gang members, and overall law breakers?
Don't get me wrong GM, I know the majority of black people aren't like that, just as the majority of white people aren't racist, but I don't understand how someone can say they want to be treated fairly as they drag items out of a store in the middle of a riot. Some police are power happy. They do it to many white people also. My local police beat a white guy into a coma, and it only made local news. It took 6 months for the police to be fired and charges weren't even filed. Young black men in low income neighborhoods are easy targets because many are already breaking laws.
I think the word war should be reserved for actual war, so I wouldn't personally say that.
As to the question, people can argue, as many do, that black people suck, which might have some truth, but only because people in general suck.
Do they have issues with crime and gangs? Sure, so does every disadvantaged population on the planet, no matter what the color of their skin.
But you can't ignore the impact of systemic issues. Nor can anyone with a straight face argue that their aren't significant levels of racism within the white population.
I am as white as you can get, which I only mention to make the point that many whiite people do not censor themselves at all around me. I am one of the club, so to speak, and the sheer volume and nastiness that comes out of these people astonishes me on a daily basis. To think that such a worldview from people in positions of power and authority has no impact on the target of that hatred is complete stupidity.
Yes, black communities have some work to do, but that doesn't absolve police forces and other communities from cleaning their own houses once in a while.
No, the police in America are not carrying out a war against young black men, but I AM.
And the reason why is, a great many young black men are out there destroying all of the positive things that black people have struggled to build.
Sad but true in part, but there is a story behind every one human being, we are not to group all black people together as people who are prejudice do. Each person is responsible for their own actions
No, and neither is there a war on cops. Oversimplifying the issue as "cops vs blacks" is a disservice to minorities and law enforcement. There are young black men who aren't criminals and there are cops who aren't racist. But we can't pretend that racism isn't fueling this problem. We can't even discuss it without both sides digging in their heels.

Black men are seven times more likely to be killed by police than white men. Believe or disbelieve?Black men accounted for 40 percent of the 60 unarmed deaths, by police, this year, even though they make up just 6 percent of the U.S. population.(Washington Post database of fatal police shootings)

I am a black man and I have been living for nearly seven decades. Thus, I am well aware that a considerable number of white law-enforcement officers are racists. However, racist white cops are not the ones making millions of black people's lives miserable. That is being done by a large number of...

Blacks in America are slated for genocide in one way or another, particularly through manufactured diseases such as ebola and AIDS. Some pundits strongly assert that covert warfare is occurring between Blacks and Caucasians which will result in the ultimate genocide of the latter...

What is your opinion of the Black Lives Matter movement? We all believe that law enforcement officers need to be held accountable and unjustified killings by police can not be tolerated. However, if the organization truely holds protecting the lives of blacks as its mission, wouldn't it make...

A black Baltimore man recently died while in police custody, and it is widely suspected that his death resulted from police misconduct and brutality. Well, I say, regardless of all that, thousands of blacks should NOT be out in the streets rioting. In my opinion, their rioting is nothing but a case...
