Jeez! That's frightening indeed! Anyways thanks for reading and commenting!
Stopping military funding for a year. What about those IN THE MILITARY-no pay? Money saved could relieve global poverty for a year. What about next? If we continue that, we'll have to borrow, credit rating decreasing and we will go the way of Greece.
Actually teamrn, one years military expenditure cut would solve the problem of hunger on a much longer term, but as solving the hunger problem is not on the NWO agenda, it's a moot point. I refer to armaments, not military personnel.
Stop all military spending? Let ISIS in, no MP border patrol, no Secret Service, no Rampart hosp in Germany, POTUS on his own for protection as are Embssies and Americans abroad. Iran. Completely neuter the US while ISIS, Iran, Russia waltzes in?
John, your solution is one of many that COULD work - oh, if only they actually wanted to like you say. The war on poverty (just like the wars on drugs, terror, cancer, drunk drivers, distracted drivers) is designed to last forever to justify big gov.
The next step is to work towards a smaller government, to make gov't more efficient. There is so much waste and pork in the government that we can do without. Imagine if we ran our homes that way; bills wouldn't get paid and we'd be broke! (Greece?)
ISIS are already in our countries, your borders could be patrolled better by local militias, but I refer ONLY to stopping more spending on armaments, not personnel, you already have a massive overkill factor over any other nation. Truth, spot on!
What planet are you on? Be rational,.
It was 'rational' thinking that created this mess, what we need is to think scripturally and spiritually, then, once one realises that what we see and live within is an illusion, one begins to see reality.
We are only temporarily resident on earth.
Stopping military spending for a year is only a start, a WEAK start. At the end of that year, the infrastructure for a selft-sufficient society won't be in place/
I sincerely doubt that "the infrastructure for a self-sufficient society" WILL be in place, by the end of this year.

A Little TRUTH says
Thanks, A Little TRUTH! It's just that looking at pictures of homeless people seated on sidewalks staring into space with no idea of what the future's gonna be, makes me feel kinda guilty. I shall check out those hubs. Many thanks for your post!
William F Torpey says
I get your point Mr Torpey! A wee bit of communism should do the trick, right? Many thanks for your valuable comments!
Maybe they shouldn't be wealthy, maybe they should. But, we have to work with what we've got now.. Learning from the past might give us direction, but we have a problem to solve NOW. Most wealthy earned their money through salaries, investment, luck.
It wouldn't be "communism," quicksand. It would simply be a form of socially acceptable capitalism.
Right on! There is an acceptable level to just about any form of "ism!"
The corporations accumulate the real money, teamrn, under capitalism. Only a small portion if from salaries (pay for work) and the big money mostly resulting from mergers and acquisitions that eliminate competition and fill the pockets of the execs.

Getting rich by "mistake" would be the most crucial "error" that would be worth making in your lifetime! Thanks for your interesting views!
Yeah, but fishing is not such an easy trade to learn! Very few can learn it even if taught by an expert! Thanks for your views!
Learn to fish is a political metaphor, but to humor you, it is easy to learn. Do you see socialism as only other option? The wealthy WILL eventually run out of $. What then? GREECE? Have libs thought of that? Plutocracy? "Thank you for your views..?"
Those billionaires should not have been legally allowed to accumulate that much money in the first place -- they didn't "earn" it (They made those huge amounts via "investing" not from their labor.)
To bottom line it; they made it. Now we have to deal with what IS, not what WAS.
You make a good point, William. How about eliminate tax on labor (income tax), but keep capital gains tax - maybe increase it a bit. Wouldn’t that do it? No income tax is not such a stretch - it didn’t exist before 1913 and the Federal Reserve.
"we have to deal with what IS, not what WAS." Not strictly true, we can wait for them to kill us, or we could just remove about 5,000 Central Banksters and solve the problem overnight.... but of course, killing is wrong, they just do not know that.
quicksand. I STILL can't believe you took me literally. Please tell me your response is a joke. Idf not, the human race is in deep doggy do.
It sure was! - :)
