   Assuming that with continued global climate change, people will start migrating, where will they go?
   
   This summer in California was almost unbearable, and if last October was any indication, it will continue this way for a few more weeks!  Without air-conditioning, there would be no work to be done, no sleep to be had.  Assuming that within the next 20 years, people will start migrating to more comfortable regions when and if they can, where will those regions be?  Where will industries start relocating?

   Please don't come to Texas! We are full!
   Obviously, there is no place to go. We have overpopulated to the point where the Earth's resources will soon be collapsing.
   It looks like in the short term, Europe will have to absorb a few million people from the Middle East.
   Mexico will probably accept more industrialization.
   South America will absorb a few.
   Africa has room, but nobody wants to go there because of the violence and political instability.
   Mostly, it's looking grim and things are heading for another global catastrophe and possible extinction event.
   I'm just glad I won't live to see it.

      (I like your new profile picture!)  LOL re: Texas - SOL  (sad out loud) re: the world.  Twenty years ago, I would call in to radio talk shows like Soucheray's "Garage Logic" to argue the mockery of global climate change. No one would listen

      Canada is pretty cool! But if we start immigrating there, would they build a wall to keep us out? Maybe we can just send the climate change deniers to Antarctica. Donald Trump can build a Trump Tower there for all his buddies!

      I tried that pronunciation 10 times n can't get it !!! I guess I can't go.  The "o" sounds almost like the o in dog to me, and the "t" sounds in the middle of "t" and "d" and there seems to be some little sound at the end of the "q" ("k") sound Yikes

      Touque=Two-ca; thus, Canada is abbreviated as Ca and since Canada ends in an "a" we go with the flow and end in eh, eh! Although our favorite son is Neil Young; you need to Google the band, titled Arrogant Worms... Watch out for the "house" mouse...

   The psychics, nobody listens to them either, are saying that in the next 200-300 years, the bulk of the population will live in the Southern hemisphere. I forget why, but it has something to do with a pole shift and climate change, I think.
   That means our descendants will be piling in on South America and Africa, not to mention Australia and New Zealand. Will the predominant language be Spanish instead of English, or will they take English with them and turn the tables on the Latinos. LOL

   America's historic migratory pattern is always to look further west. I doubt those living in southern California would ever be happy in Minnesota or anywhere in the Midwest. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw substantial growth in industry booming in East Asia and Southeast Asia in the coming decades. If it came to it, I could see west-coast Americans being very happy in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan or Japan. It's not unprecedented for American settlers to swarm a foreign country only to end up dominating its industries and, eventually, its politics until it became another arm of the US. That's how Texas and Hawaii were formed. California of course was once a foreign country to the US.

      Old-Empresario,  Interesting. I'm thinking of the HEAT and drought mostly, so for me Austrailia, New Zealand and SE Asia would be out. Being from MN, now living in CA, I'm thinking summers in the midwest are looking awfully good if we could swing it
