DO You feel like crying for TED CRUZ?

Ted has been fighting like crazy for the past months for what seemed inevitable. The inevitable has now become reality and Ted Cruz has finally dropped out.

It should be noted that amidst his relentless fight people just seemed to have a dislike for him for some hard-to-explain reason.

So I suppose that Donald trump is now what everyone has been putting question marks beside-----the GOP nominee.

P.S John Kasich is still in the race even though lying in fourth place and beyond the aid of any mathematical or miraculous conjuring?????????????

Not crying for Ted. He would have gotten his butt kicked by HRC anyway.

This hopefully will be the cleansing of the Party.  Ted Cruz was the social conservative in the race and many of my fellow GOPers still cling to the notion that we are really a nation of socially conservative religious people. That is not the case anymore.

So that wing of the party is fading.  With Donald Trump most likely going down to defeat, a new GOP will emerge; one that is more populous and libertarian in nature.

It's going to be a rough year another Clinton get soft press coverage. But by 2020, I think a new field of Republicans will emerge to challenge HRC, who by then will have worn out her welcome at the White House.

    Great topic.

I think Trump will dismantle Hillary the same way he did all the other Republicans - he's not afraid to rip open old wounds and introduce skeletons to the conversation

I think Trump will lose big.  He will be lucky to get 190 electoral votes.  Right now, Sabato has HRC getting a minimum of 300 to Trump's 180 in a head to head.  But I think Trump can pull in another State or two.

U know the interesting thing about Trump is that he's unpredictable.
Saying he can't do something is like adding gasoline to fire.

I think we should all say he will win and then he  might get bored and not bother with the obvious smile

Ted was rejected by the people - I know he feels things should have gone his way because he champions conservatism, but mainstream America doesn't agree with it so much

True..... but what then does america wants?
After all Conservatism doesn't sound so bad.....where is america going?
I think some persons just hated the imagery of Ted:

No. I feel like crying for people who did not see what an opportunity they had to save themselves.

Ted Cruz's real name is Rafael Edward Cruz. His name literally means 'God heals the bearer of the Cross.' In college he wrote a fascinating thesis called 'Clipping the Wings of Angels.' I wish more Americans had read that rather than the headlines. He is not a natural born citizen by the strictest definition, but neither is Obama by his own admission. And no one did anything about it.

Donald Trump's name literally means 'Great Chief of winning through Deception'

Y'all have made your choice and sealed your fate.

    I apologize.

I had hope for him. Unfortunately the people running the show have other plans. "Give the people what they want. If they want garbage, give it to them," they said.

Yeah........Did U see the way trumps supporters treated him horribly and without reason too...They couldn't even answers his questions properly. I think You have to have a strong heart to stand up to supporters like that daily.

Ted Cruz is still a senator and likely will remain so. Don't think he'd end up Trump's VP, but he could be Trump's nomination to the Supreme Court for Scalia's empty seat.

Not at all, I think America has two clear distinct choices.

Clinton is the poster child for Washington-elite, Washington-establishment, and life long politician, who has made herself hundreds of millions by being one. Globalist. Influenced by Foreign powers and international corporations (Donors).

Trump is the poster child for outsider, independent, economic success and effort. Nationalist.  Influenced by himself, and those he appoints to positions around him, not influenced by foreign powers or corporations.

The media will work effortlessly to make this about race, abortion, sexism, like they have for every Republican politician who they deem a threat going on nearly a decade now... Bush was once considered the next Hitler... but Obama got a free pass...

Cruz didn't embody outsider, economic guru, and anti-Washington the way Trump does.

Wow, very impartial and holistic.... are U by any chance an analyst ? smile I've never really looked at both parties leading nominees in such a light. U sound almost independent though?
