The first year?
That is relatively unrealistic, for instance Obama has made significant change in our country... more so than the previous two admins.
But we are only now truly beginning to feel the impact of those changes in our lives.
Obamacare was passed 6 years ago, but only now is it tearing through families and costing them thousands of dollars and leaving many without any coverage at all.
His international affairs will leave a disaster in the Middle East, he helped bring forth the Arab Spring... which has resulted in millions of displaced Middle Easterners flooding into Europe, and now being flown by the thousands into America.
His more than doubling of the National Debt, that was at 9 Trillion after contending with 9/11 and Katrina and the Mortgage Crisis is now over 20 Trillion dollars... and we had no 9/11 event or near collapse of the world economy to deal with, where it all went I can only imagine.
His ordering of the borders to remain open, and for our agents not to stop illegals from entering into the country could have many effects, millions of people who are not documented and do not contribute to the system but live off of it for school, food, etc. and take jobs will not help our economy... and if terrorists have come in with them, they will eventually cause terror and destruction.
SO much of what Obama has done has yet to bear fruit... only time will tell.
It's not what a President does in his first year that has impact... its what occurs after he has been in office for years, and his decisions begin to make their presence known in our lives.
