Who cares, Iran has always been an important ally in the war against Taliban. George Bush shouldn't have been enemy with them to begin with. Iran was the first country to have a problem with the Taliban and backed the rightful Afghan government against them. When George Bush threaten Iran's national security, with the threat of invading, due to the nuclear issue, that is when Iran's President changed policy to back Taliban, it wasn't because he like the Taliban, but he needed to use the Taliban to keep the US occupied fighting Taliban in Iraq and Afghanistan, so they won't invade Iran. (Of course this policy is very unpopular amount the Iranian people.) Since Obama fixed relationship with Iran, we see radical change in Iran's policy in the war on extremists and have gone from been an enemy, to been an ally, in the war against ISIS. I think it is important for us to maintain a good relationship with Iran and other Middle Eastern nation, at least till ISIS and Taliban have been wiped off the face of the earth.
