What are you going to do the day after the election?

I think most of us pretty much know who we are voting for at this point, so no matter who wins - lets let the cards fall where they may and look ahead: how will you start de-stressing after the hairy-scary national show is over?

Will you be okay if your favored candidate loses? What about if they WIN? (Sometimes that's just as bad, ha!) Are we going to be able to continue living in relative peace with our neighbors; or are we going to war? Is there any hope in the future for America as a country at all?

If Trump wins I will thank God Almighty.  If Hillary wins it will only be through fraud and I will demand civil war. Arm-up, pray, get ready for martial-law and The Rapture!
    Also see John 3:16 & Ephesians 6:12!

I'm thankful that I won't have to de-stress for my confidence is not in what mankind will or can do.  The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord and He turns it wither-so-ever He will.  As a Christian I have direction on how to respond to government leadership: pray for them and live a peaceful life.  Grace to You (gty.org) has a great post for Christians seeking to know more about how best to respond. It is titled Christians and Submitting to Government.

Of course, America is unique in that we were established with a protected freedom to speak up about matters that concern us. Even if our freedoms continue to dwindle, God's direction for our responses to government leadership never changes.  He is still sovereign.  It may not seem like it, but His Word stands.  He does not owe us an explanation of everything He is doing, but His Word has enough for life in this world no matter what country we live in at any time in history.

Some Christians say the worldly condition of the church in this country is bringing God's judgement.  Some say that the violent times we live in is bringing it, and others say it is worshipping creation instead of the Creator.  There are many opinions and I don't know whether any are true at this point.  I do know, though, that I don't have to stress.  God's promises of help are as sure as His warnings.  His faithfulness to His Word sweeps history and shapes our future.

We hope and pray for God's best yet we face the fact that we live in interesting times in this country and globally so we trustfully pray for wisdom to respond wisely to people and circumstances as times grow darker.  The candidates are in need of God's help whether they ever realize it or not.  It is truly amazing grace to be able to pray for them with compassion rather than spew hatred.

That said, it will definitely be a relief for the election to be over.  It will take time for things to simmer down but at least relief from the yakkity-yakking about the race is in sight.  Hope for the future?  Sure there is, but there may be deep waters to through before people will truly turn to its Source.

Regardless of who wins, we'll probably see accusation of voter fraud. Regardless of the FBI's failure to prosecute Clinton, the emails from the Weiner/Huma laptop will likely be leaked. Not only does NYPD have them, many others have them as well, since the laptop was unsecured. It's been reported that the NYPD threatened to make them public. If Clinton is elected, the damaging information will just keep coming--at least until her inauguration in January, at which time she will probably take action to silence any opposition. These actions could take some unpleasant forms, such as internet censorship, wet work, and a gradual move towards "blasphemy courts," such as we're now seeing in Europe. Policies detrimental to the American people will be ramped up: still more illegal immigration, more Muslim immigration, more taxes, more banker bail-outs, more crony capitalism, and more destruction of the currency.

Unless some kind of counter-force is applied, the US will be a third-world country in 8 years, and I see few effective options for applying a counter-force.

We will also most likely be engaged in a hot war with Russia in 2017--which could go nuclear.

It's hard to say what will happen if Trump is elected. Initially, most likely there will be quite a bit of civil unrest in urban areas. Once inaugurated, he may be able to mount an effective prosecution of some of the criminals in government and finance--which would include the Clintons. He may be able to make other beneficial policy changes re Obamacare, immigration, the restoration of Glass-Steagal, and foreign policy in general. But I doubt if much can be done unless there is a major housecleaning in the way of criminal prosecutions beforehand--by means of naming an honest prosecuting attorney and cleaning up the DOJ and FBI.

The cleanup job is so massive that it's hard to see how it could proceed other than in small increments--with establishment interests kicking and screaming the whole way. But at least a hot war/nuclear war with Russia will probably be avoided.

If my side wins - celebrate.
If my side loses - cry for days. Then plan for whatever comes next.

What terrifies me are the Democrat bullies already attacking conservatives for simply being conservative, such as the black homeless woman liberals beat up for defending Trump's star on the walk of fame, BLM protestors that chased down and beat up white people because they were white in every riot they've held, college events and increasingly public events where liberals block access if they don't show up with air horns to deny others' right to free speech.
If they have a new President that endorses their actions as Obama already does, the black mob attacks on whites (polar bear hunting/knockout game) and liberals beating up people for wearing MAGA gear will only become more prevalent.
The SJW hate mobs, the liberal bullies, will have a new, more ardent supporter in the White House. Where they shut down rallies in Chicago and beat up people for simply attending a Trump rally in San Jose as police in both cases did nothing, they will attack everything from Tea Party meetings to people who don't virtue signal on the street. (See the BLM demanding people say black lives matter when they entered a diner, then beating up people who said leave me alone I'm eating).
Then the liberal bullies will become full fledged brown shirts, the foot soldiers of fascism.

And now we have one as our president...  Where has common sense, values, and morals gone? Will I be able to relax, well maybe not for a while.  I am one that was born with an abundance of common sense, this will make it very hard to put this all behind me.... I know Japan, Taiwan and South Korea would start developing weapons, quickly. These are 3 countries, that got all of what it take to become super powers. However, the US' policy in relationship to these three nations are outdated policy from the early cold war era. Back in those days, the US wanted to quarantine the Communist. Taiwan and South Koreans wanted to push the Communist back to Russia. Japan due to WW2, has great restriction on their self defense force.

As a result, the US back in those day, tend to pressure Taiwan, South Korea and Japan, to restrict in the development of their military, with threat of the withdrawing of US troops from Asia and economic sanction. Because during the cold war, everybody needed to rely on US leadership, they got no choice but to put up with this shit and as a result, there was a need of a strong US military presence.

In 21st century, US is continue to use that out dated policy. For example, 3 years ago, Taiwan's new Mark 4 attack missile, was fear by China, because no Chinese defense missile is capable of interception, in addition this attack missile is cheap to produce. However, the US started pressuring Taiwan not to mass produce this attack missile. despite increase strength of Chinese navy, instead Obama place more navy to Asia. After Trump came into power, he already announce he has no intention to in anyway, pressure Taiwan, Japan and South Korea to mass produce weapon or develop weapon that is even more powerful. Trump even went further to encourage Japan to develop weapon of mass destruction. Taiwan, Japan and South Korea already have what it take to become super power, but that has not been possible, this is because, despite the increase threat of China, US continue using the need of US present in Asia, to pressure Japan, Taiwan and South Korea to restrict weapon mass production and to develop more powerful weapons. Thus, there is an increase need of US troop present in Asia, to deal with China.

Under Trump's policy, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, can within a matter of 4~5 years, be more then powerful enough to crush China, Japan, who is the most powerful of the three, chances are even Russia would be no match against the Japanese. Thus, there would be lesser need of US troop present in Asia, so Trump can afford to recall more US troops back from Asia to the US, thus kept his promise to the American people. Even after Trump finished as President and the next President, return to the old policy of pressuring Taiwan, Japan and South Korea to restrict weapon development, by that stage, these three nations would be so powerful, they have no need of US presence to deal with the threat China, North Korea and Russia poses to Asia and consider pressuring the Taiwanese, Japanese and South Koreans to restrict their weapon development and production, in exchange of more US troop present in Asia, is an outdated stupid policy, most likely, by then the Taiwanese, Japanese and South Koreans would just ignore the US. So, there is still no need for additional US troop present in Asia,

I'm going on about my business like it's any other day, just as I have done for every election thus far. Life goes on.

Congratulate Colorfulone, Kathryn Hill, Sgt., and Taze.  Their candidate framed the election to turnout plenty of voters with immigration and jobs and security.

Not once did the democrats anchor themselves to the successes in California and Minnesota tax plans.  The environment was an after thought.

Listen.  Love.  Extend a hand to those who need it.  Continue to prepare for the future by doing well in medical school. Pray for America, pray for struggling Americans, pray that Trump will have the ability to step up to the plate and lead with grace and kindness.  Learn from those around me, spread goodness, and keep living.

I realize that it doesn't matter which puppet is elected. The same hands will be stuffed up their ass. By that, I mean the same wealthy families, large corporate conglomerates and international central banks will be controlling the country the same as usual. America was bought and sold long ago, and the funny little theatrical puppet shows that we refer to as political elections have been a farce for nearly a hundred years.

As far as wars, terrorism, and so forth, I really believe that business will continue as usual.

Before the election there was a sense of hope and optimism. There was a general feeling that the young people in our society would band together and rise up to say "this is not who we are". Sadly, this voice was overshadowed by one of fear, anger, racism and pride. In the new world we live in, it will much harder to cling to the inclusive and inherently american ideals and values the past presidency embodied. I think we need to come together to support any measure Trump proposes that furthers progress in our country, and work vigorously to oppose any legislation that does not. The main problem I see with this election is not that Trump is our new president, but rather that the type of people with racist, homophobic, Islamophobic, or misogynistic ideals are now emboldened through this election. We simply need to make sure that we can always say we are proud to be Americans, and fight any idea or policy that would harm that.

It is not racist to deport people who illegally enter and occupy our country.  It really bothers me that so many people assume a Latino is an illegal alien.  Most of them are here legally and have no concerns.

Favorite candidate win or loss, does it affect in any way? Some what it is, at least I think this, because it is a human psychology "If wish not full filled, they get upset". But fact is this from a ancient time common people are ruled by there leader whether they like it or not. So whomsoever win we have to concentrate on our daily work. Nothing going to be changed after election. Just like before election, I was doing 9-5 job, still I am doing the same. So no affect at all.
