With the market lows today, nd the proven failure of Trickle Down Economics in 80's, how is now dif?
What's going to be different between the failure of trickle down Economics of the 80's than tht of today? Trump's plan is Reagan's 1980's plan. It was a huge failure.
Trump's plan is not Reagan's plan. Reagan was not a protectionist. He did not advocate tariffs. His administration supported free movement of labor and capital. Taxes needed to be lowered. Review the top tax rates in the late 70s and early 80s.
The Administration also got immigration reform through the Congress. Read Mr. Reagan's statements regarding immigrants and you will see the difference.
Also, Reagan never countenanced to the Soviets/Russians' influence and attempt at expansion. He saw them for what they were: evil dictators bent on world domination. No need to "respect" them. What Trump and his supporters say about Putin is embarrassing. It's driven mostly by race. Putin is a "white" strongman.
Please never compare Ronald Reagan to Trump. Pains me to hear. Go back and look at the record. It does a great disservice to his memory and to the country.
Trump will never, ever come close to the man.

The next time someone tells you that Obama is destroying the economy, remind them that the stock market and corporate profits are at all-time highs. When they tell you that this hasn't helped them, remind them they've just admitted Trickle-Down Economics doesn't work. All comments are appreciated.

What if this happened today. All the news networks, all the world leaders, all the scientists, all the leaders of churches announced that it was proven that God does not exist. Proven beyond any reasonable doubt whatsoever. What would you do? How would society and the world react?
