   Now that the Electoral College has confirmed Trump, can the nation start to heal and work together?
   
   The Electoral College has confirmed Donald Trump as the next President.  Faithless Elector counts were 2 from Trump's totals and surprisingly 4 from Clinton's totals.  Even arch-rival John Kasich finally came around to express a need for unity now.

   See that's exactly what the liberal, msm, fake news media wants you to believe, that the nation is so divided and more importantly that liberals are some sort of majority. They're not! They never were and they never will be. It is all a facade created by the media and one reason they get away with it is the silence of the silent majority and the indifference of the majority of the electorate who never votes.
   
   Just like every other sensationalized wave of propaganda (fake news) the media reports on, global warming will destroy the earth, the Russians control who we elect, Republicans want to poison the environment and kill the elderly, all cops even black ones are out of control racists, this effort to paint Trump's election as illegitimate is nothing but expressed denial of the facts and the truth and the constitution out of their desperation in knowing that a Trump presidency is on the way to driving a wooden stake into the heart of bloodsucking liberalism and ending the reign of its villainous leaders like Hillary and Obama.
   
   For the nation to heal the disease needs to be cut out, not invited in!

      As usual Lisa you make no sense at all - learn to think would you? The majority of a population is not based on 1/2 of the people who vote which is at best 50% of eligible voters therefore representing less than 25% of the population. DUH

      The argument over majority is moot - unless everyone is forced to both register and vote one way or the other, then no one will truly know.  Plus, people change sides on a regular basis or vote across party lines.

   Keep in mind that many of the voters in this election were 14 to 16 years old when Obama was elected.  He is really the only President they have ever know.
   
   Combine that with all the college professors that teach them how great Socialism can be and it is no surprise as to how they think.

      You're confusing soialism with totalitarianism. Until Reagan, socialism was king. Aussie, UK, EU, Canada - all have socialism. In the USA, the military, police, roads, dams, forest dept, etc. are 'owned' by the government. That's socialism.

   Trump won the popular vote in 31 states 2 her 19 and DC.  62% to her 38%. 
   Trump led in the total popular vote for all states except California.  Hillary won California
         5,860,714 to Trump’s 3,151,821.  61.6% to 33.1%, exclusive of the other candidates.
   Thus California gave Hillary the popular vote for all states as claimed by the Democrats & their media stooges.
   
       But deduct her California vote from her national vote leaving her with 54,978,783, & deduct Trump’s California vote from his national total, leaving him w/ 57,113.976, he wins in a landslide in the other 49 states, 51.3% to her 48.7%.
        
       So, in effect, Hillary was elected president of California and Trump was elected president of the rest of the country, by a substantial margin.
        
       This exemplifies the wisdom of the Electoral College, 2 prevent the votes of any 1 populace state from overriding the votes of the others.
        
       Trump’s Campaign Manager, Kellyanne Conway, whose expertise is polling, saw this early on & devised her strategy of “6 pathways to the White House”.  This meant ignoring California w/ its huge Democrat majority & going after the states that would give him the necessary electoral votes to win, FL, NC, MI, PA, OH, and WI.
        
       At its lowest point since the civil war!  Could this mean the end of the Democrat Party?
       When the afternoon of January 20, 2017 arrives, the Republican Party will have:
       1)  The Presidency.
       2)  A majority of the House of Representatives.
       3)  A majority of the Senate.
       4)  Almost two-thirds of all the governors.
       5)  Total control of the statehouses in a two-thirds of all the states.
       6)  And in the near future, Republicans will be able to add a majority of the Supreme Court.
        
       The above has never happened before in American history.
        
       Think about this & let it sink in for a moment.
        
       And it's all because of 1 reason:
       Barack Obama forcing his extreme far-left agenda on an unwilling country by executive orders, left wing judges, & obsequious bureaucrats.

   No, it appears we have a huge split, and it's due to ideology. On one side you have people with deep convictions, and tons of common sense, on the other you have people that actually do not see that we need change due to the countrys deeding problems. It's easy to hide from problems, if you are prone to do this. However, on the other hand those with strong common sense they do not have what it takes to push problems from their minds, and want problems solved, not discussed , not mulled over by committees. They want solutions, and can see we need change now.
