Majoring in theory, I was just curious, do you believe in the concept of coincidence?
To me, coincedence is far from idealistic, and is extraordinarily controversial. Simmilar to the conception of 'time'. What are your opinions? I ask because Im very opinionated myself, and young as that.. I seek a higher, more knowledgeable presumption.
Personally I believe coincidence is nothing more than an extension of probability. What most would call a coincidence a mathematician could break it down and determine the odds of it occurring. It is similar to winning the lottery, the probably of winning is about 1 in 270 million, yet people win all the time.
I think I remember see a show where they actually took some obscure situation and calculated the probability of it happening. The example I remember was a guy lost his wallet in the ocean and a few weeks later his friend found it while out swimming. Wish I could remember the name of the show.
That is just how I see it, but very interesting question indeed.
Coincidence simply means two or more incidences that happen at the same moment in time. Like all the things that have to happen at the same time in order for something unusual to come about.like 911 and all the security measures that failed. All the people involved that should have known ,or if they knew let it happen for their own reasons.including world wars and bank failures.Everything happens for a reason. What those reasons are is up for debate.
Time - past, present and future can be seen as all a part of the -
N -PAST
O- PRESENT
W - FUTURE
There are an infinite number of points in a cirrcle and all those points represent past, present and future with respect to where they exist within the cirrcle.
A cirrcle is like life,it begins and goes through cycles just like all life goes through cycles as spring, summer fall and winter.
We are all spiritual beings having a human experiance. When the physical body dies ,the spirit simply moves on to another body.
The spirit is from the creation and exists in each of us as a part of the whole.Seperated only so we can bring the creator as close to the creation as possible and to learn through us as much about the creation as possible.
We think we are seperate, but that is an illusion. We are like an infinite number of thought creations all sharing one spiritual body.We are seperate in order that the creation may have an infinite number of physical bodies with which to experiance the creation.
Creation can be liked to the human body from it's inception through to it's growth. When we "the creation" get to the point of procreaton we create more bodies with which others like us may inhabit after the birth of the body from it's host.
The body is made up of an almost infinite number of cells, which in turn are created, live and die. They can reproduce just as we can.
Hmm...Good question.
Coincidence...you could look at it as a bending of space and time, the perfect condition for something to coincidentally happen at the right time...Time, what is time? it's not something natural, you cannot describe it, just like pain, describe pain in a few words can you? You can't describe it like you would a painting for example, you ca only perceive it. We perceive thing differently so are we perceiving real things? I think coincidences are the sign that we can control things that happen. A coincidence always follows an action, thought or desire, think about it "what a coincidence you called me I was Thinking about you"...So I see coincidences as answers and not question marks.
I do believe that the ability to decide paers down the number of coincidental cycles that can exist into a matter of making decisions that limit coincidence.
The question is, do I beleive a decision can limit or control coincidence and the answer to that is yes to a limited degree.
I believe in coincidence. Some coincidental happenings (i'm referring to two or more incidents that are ironicly or oddly related) are intentionaly caused to be related. I can't think of anything that lives to only die. Everything has a cause. Preservation of existence, generaly speaking, could play a part in what we see as those really "strange" coincidences. A butterfly effect chain reaction that is intentional. Spirits maybe.
Co-incidences happen of course.
But when "highly unlikely" co-incidences keep happening in exatly the same way, I have to question what is going on.
For example, major terrorist events (like 9/11, 7/7 and others) seem to co-incide perfectly with terror drills.
That's more than a little fishy if you ask me.
Likewise, if government documents are declassified, I'll read them.
Operation Northwoods is a case in point.
The Reichstag Fire was an inside job and every modern historian acknowledges that.
Does that make them conspiracy theorists?
Yes! I think in every day life you have cause and effect chains happening all the time. Every decision you make no matter how seemingly insignificant effects the cause and effect chains. Add to this environmental factors and reactions with other people and their cause and effect chains and you can see how unpredictable your future is! Coincidence is two events that seem to have a basis for cause an effect but are unrelated and part of their own separate cause and effect chains.

Do you believe we all have a purpose in our lives? Are we all here for a reason?I don't believe in fate or destiny. I don't think there is any reason for me to be on this earth other than simple biology. I'm OK with that. I like the idea that the coarse of my life is for me to decide. Both the...

As I understand it, everything did not exist at all a nano-second before the "Big Bang" and everything, absolutely all the energy in the Universe was in existence a nano-second after the "Big Bang." From where did all of this come? How did it come to be? Is it...

Does God listen to our prayers when our pets are sick or injured?I have always wondered if God takes the time to listen to our prayers for a pet. I like to think He does.
