Why don’t they put a chimney on where the oil spill starts?
The water oil mixture would then be collected at the top of the chimney at the surface where the chimney has narrowed to a manageable size. .
I understand they are doing something like this now and are containing the oil but how true any of the reports are or have been is up to you to decide. I have read so many conflicting reports, great suggestions and dire predictions, I think the best all of us can hope for is for it to be stopped.

Why don't the gov do what Russia did with about 5 under sea oil spills and use a low yield nuke to close the darn thing? Seems like we're letting the corporations run the show on this one, and we all know how well they ran the show with the economy.

Is anyone else seriously worried about the BP oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico?I've been staying on top of all the news reports and findings as well as researching the effects of previous oil spills and it seem the more I learn the more unsettling this whole situation becomes.
