Parenthood.  Start at the beginning-teach them to be kind, good, hard-working and loving and they will influence others, and those others will influence others and then eventually they will teach their children the same thing and they'll teach their friends, etc.  It's amazing the influence a parent has on molding the type of person someone will be

In my own humble opinion, there is really no specific job that could do, for you to make a difference in this world. What really matters is that you give your best to whatever job you have, enjoy, appreciate and love it. This can make a difference to your own world and eventually help you become a person who can touch the lives of others. Feeling good and loving life never fails to help anyone to have a positive effect on others. Giving a positive effect on others may help them be inspired and appreciate life more. Appreciation of life is a way to happiness. Isn't that a simple way to make a difference? God bless!

The best job to change the world is probably Obama`s job. Don`t want to bring politics into the subject, but to really make a difference in the world one must have a great deal of influence.

Another answer is.. the job of being Bill Gates. Imagine his fortune (and I mean all of it) invested into research, into young talented people, medicine, development, and so on..

The world is a large place.  Within your own small world is you, and  the people around you--that is the world you affect the most. Be a good person.  Be a good Mommy or Daddy or husband, brother or sister.  These are the hardest yet usually unpaid jobs.  So if money isn't of utmost importance pick a job that allows you to fulfill these most essential roles.

Teaching the word of God would be a fantastic way to make a difference in the world. But, keep in mind it doesn't have to be a job at all that you do that makes a difference... A positive attitude can change the world my friend.. You have probably already made a difference to the world and don't even know it. Stand up for what is right, treat people nice, be a blessing to the world and you will have made a difference.

That depends on the difference you want to make. Honestly, ask from your heart whether you want to make a difference in the world and what, why, how and when. the answer lies there. Shall I suggest you write a hub on the type of difference you want to make and why you are not satisfied with as it is. will make a great hub. Expand it to a book. and as the time goes by it will be a new philosophy.

Combine the careers of fishing and teaching. That one has a proven track record...

The best job i consider to be taken to make a difference in the world would be taking you the job of a social worker. I've always been inspired by mother Theresa. Happiness is not just about money, it's about love, sharing and caring.

The job that first of all is your passion, the one that uses your talents and skills.  Then whatever it is, do it to the best of your abilities and treat people wonderfully that you encounter during the course of your work... that is what makes a difference in this world...

I think it would have to be a teacher. Unfortunately, here in california too many teachers use their position to make a political difference and not a social difference which is evidenced by the quality of education here.

Middle-school/ junior high teachers. This is the worst time for most people and if your are a STRONG individual, perhaps you can help kids realize that they don't have to form the cliques they do. I know some of the teachers from this time have really made a difference to me.

Writers also. I still feel the impact of Tolkien's works and Fahrenheit 451.
