Instead of campaigning yesterday, Paul Ryan jetted to Las Vegas to meet with Sheldon Adelson. Adelson is the billionaire who said he'd spend up to $100 million to get rid of Obama. For his investment, Adelson wants the federal investigation of his bribery charges concerning his casinos in China dropped and he wants a war against Iran immediately. That's because he's an advocate of a "Greater Israel."
Is this fee-for-service sort of political deal ethical?. Or is it just the way campaigns are run today--the donors dictate the candidates' schedules and their policies?
