John, be careful. The world according to Repairguy is: If you do not agree with him you are a liberal. Socialist, communist, green party member, independent = liberal= the world according to Repairguy.
Try telling that to your paymasters and consider their thoughts on the rights of women and what they do with their bodies! Who was it that publicly branded a woman a slut for wanting contraception? It was no left wing liberal (!) that's for sure.
By classical liberalism it implied free from governmental interventions, free enterprises... I said stricto sensus, if you don't understand the term it's your problem not mine but don't pretend that you did! I did not refer to the economical ideology, theory!
How are they full of hate at all? Being liberal Or conservative doesn't make you a hateful person. Parties are going after each other now because there's an election, that's how it is, that's how it's been, that's how it will always be.
When people can meet in the middle, rather extending towards the far right or left, maybe we'll make some progress.
Stoop? You're the one that made it haha. All I said was don't stereotype it and blame liberals for being hateful. I can make my points again if you want. Or we could look at hateful conservatives as well.
Did the same with liberal hate speech, pages upon pages. I never said there wasn't right hate, there just seems to be a double standard. You are living proof the double standard exists. My work is done here. the typical liberal tactic of attacking the messenger and not the message has been displayed in this thread.
Perhaps liberals are sick and tired of the extreme right and yes, they hate it.
If the extreme right, especially the raggedy welfare state confederates of the deep south and from America's methamphetamine based "heartland" economy would stop with their aggression, and go back into their holes and caves, the rest of America would not be fighting back.
Consider it a wake up call that certain political movements are not good for this nation and they are not wanted.
As a liberal, being exposed to a significant amount of people in this country that, as Greg Proops so aptly-humorously-put it: "seems like, oh, I dunno, a redneck, gun-totin', psycho-Christian, anti-choice, homophobic, truck-drivin' dog in the back, gimme-cap-wearing, you know, 'the jury's still out on evolution,' kind of place" we tend to be rather.... Oh, well, nasty. That's not what Greg concluded with, rather , he blamed England for our current state as the first people from England that made a lasting impression were the dour Puritains ( I just used the description.)
