He makes a good point about the War on Drugs. Locking people up for selling or smoking marijuana, and even many police officers are now coming out in favor of legalization.
This got me thinking about what line a candidate must cross before the individual will lose a citizen's vote. Torture? Continuing the War on Drugs?
What is your line, and why? I'm looking for big ideas, not "spending too much money," or having an "arrogant personality"
But, will any of that change if Romney is President? I very much doubt it.

Adams claims, "Romney is likely to continue the same drug policies as the Obama administration. But he's enough of a chameleon and a pragmatist that one can't be sure."
He is such a flip flopper, there is a small chance he could stop the War on Drugs. Obama is more consistent, so we know he is probably not going to change course.

I am very disturbed by the use of intimidation by multi-millionaire (and billionaires) to intimidate their employees to vote for Romney. We take pride in our fair and free elections, but it doesn't look like they...

Because instead of punishing people for drug use, they helped them with treatment programs. Should the US, where most people are in prison for drug offenses, adopt the same decriminalization policy?

Both Romney and Obama want more war. Looks like we're staying in Afghanistan for many more years to come. And Iraq? Heck, "combat" troops have been renamed "trainers." All for a good Corporate buck....

Do you believe if the government controls pot and other drugs that it will have a better effect than the current policy? Or do you believe that we should strike harder at the cartels?
