As a military religious man remind the people of "liberated Syria" their duty as a new citizen of a democracy. A religious and military state? I thought the western world was against extreme islam! Another hypocrisy? We don't need to understand Arabic to feel the dictatorship atmosphere. Order and obedience. Is that it?

He help get the cease fire, that doesn't mean he gets US support or is immune for US sanctions.

Indeed it does. Not only does the US is fully participating to the building of muslim emirates within the Syrian land but it is also financing an islamist CEO of Shell at the head of the new Syrian government.

It's Syria, there are Muslims on both sides.

The US is funding people trying to throw him out of office and about to recognize *them* as a government representing the nation.

If that's getting a free pass, I wouldn't want one.
