social engineering: & not the computer network kind

    I looked up 'social engineering' on HP and the references were all on computer security. Doesn't anybody recognize gov't sponsored SE? Nationalism, advertising creating 'needs', or political logical fallacies as a form of social engineering?

    You better write some hubs on that yourself then - there's not enough information on here about this subject.

      If there are not enough hubs on this, it looks like something I could get involved with. Social engineering has been going on for a very long time, almost all of it without the net or other technology. Thanks all for the heads up. This kind of thing is right up my street of interests.
