A single mom earning $29k in PA actually nets $57,000/year in income and benefits. If she takes a $1000/year raise, she will net $50,000/year in income and benefits. If she gets a job that pays $60,000/year, she will net $50,000/year in income and benefits.

Our system says you get more stuff if you earn $29k/year than if you earn anywhere between $30k-69k per year. Yeah, great plan.

Another example, from Mississippi. A family of 4, if the father works minimum wage, 1 week a month, they will get 92% the total income and benefits as they would if the father were earning $60k per year. If he works minimum wage full time, they will get 110% the total income and benefits as they would if he were making $60k per year.

Yeah, great plan. Is there anybody who thinks this is a good way to go about it?

Nope.  I'm with you on this.  Welfare is being abused by millions.
