Why has there been such a lack of media coverage in this murder trial? This doctor murdered babies after they had been born by making an incision in the back of the neck and cutting the spinal cord between the 1st and 2nd vertebrae. He also liked to save the fetuses' feet for unknown reasons. But there has been absolutely NO media coverage by ABC, CBS or NBC as of today!

I don't know about you but I have seen it mentioned several times.

This guy is not an example of a normal doctor. This man is a sick person and he is being charged with murder.

If you banned all abortions, this would be the type of doctor women would go to.

Actually if you made abortion legal, and pushed it on the populace with an inflammatory political agenda, allowing the industry to covertly operate outside of the law, and prime the main stream media to ignore outright murder, this would be the type of doctor women would go to. Hence the trial. Liberals created him, not conservatives.

Apparently you are forgetting the hundreds who killed late term babies and their mothers in back room abortios alla cross the country often killing far more than six before being caught.

I wonder how many more under aged prostitutes acorn would have abetted before they were caught by under cover journalists. Who brought to light the malpractice that caused four botched abortions in one month at the planned parenthood in Wilmington, Delaware? The list goes on and on.
Who was it that caught them breaking the law? Hint: not liberals.

You mean the video made by "journalists" proven completely false and for which the makers were successfully sued for fraud and defamation?

You mean the Acorn who was found completely innocent of all crimes?

It was indeed conservatives who closed a charity on the basis of a false video in a blatant smear campaign.

Adding the word "charity" to an organization that kills babies is like calling Hitler an advocate for Jewish civil liberties. They deserve all the smear that they get.

I haven't heard of it and I'm watching or listening to the news most of the time.

Jodie Arias, and Kim Jong Un are getting all the attention right now. No time for anything that doesn't suit the liberal medias agenda.
People rioted in the streets when Rodney King got beaten, and he became a household name, but nobody's even heard of a guy named Kenneth Gladney because he did not fit their narrative. It was liberal activist white guys beating down a conservative black guy so it gets swept under the rug, just like this Gosnell case. It doesn't fit their narrative.

    speak out!

atrocities always give a blind eye to those that cannot stomach the lies they continue to promote...

abortion, especially late term...are... well...a wake up call to the souls of humanity.

let your voice be heard by the mainstream media that continue to ignore infanticide...

there has to be a line drawn in the sand for those that still need to see the difference between late term and early abortions

    humanity, where are you?

Because the mainstream media supports Planned Parenthood.  Planned Parenthood is keeping their fingers crossed for an acquittal!

"The Weekly Standard pointed out to a clip from the full committee hearing, which took place Wednesday, where Snow was questioned by representatives about the position:

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”
“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow."

That is complete BS and you know it... It is not referring to this case.

This guy being sent to jail would be a good thing for those who provide legitimate abortion services to women. And, as we know, Planned Parenthood performs very few abortions as opposed to their other services..

But, based on the Planned Parenthood representative:

Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow “We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

        The statement speaks for itself.

It may not be speaking for this case.  It does speak for Planned Parenthoods belief though, doesn't it?  Based on her testimony, this doctor did nothing wrong.

        What am I missing?

Wouldn't you agree that due to this mass killing of children there should be some common sense regulations placed on abortion? Perhaps congress should act on this, because if we can save just one child's life, it's worth it. Don't you agree?

You are missing that the man currently being tried was not performing legal abortions at any point, the fetus was already beyond the legal point of no return.,

Massof has himself already pleaded guilty to first-degree homicide, admitting to having killed babies born live and viable during botched abortion procedures.

The question to her was very specific.  Where does the difference lie?

      1. Reality Bytes profile image75

Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

"So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief," said Rep. Jim Boyd. "If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

"We believe that any decision that's made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician," said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

Rep. Daniel Davis then asked Snow, "What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”

"I do not have that information," Snow replied. "I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”

Rep. Jose Oliva followed up, asking the Planned Parenthood official, "You stated that a baby born alive on a table as a result of a botched abortion that that decision should be left to the doctor and the family. Is that what you’re saying?”

Again, Snow replied, “That decision should be between the patient and the health care provider.”

“I think that at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table, wouldn’t you agree?” asked Oliva.

"That’s a very good question. I really don’t know how to answer that," Snow said. "I would be glad to have some more conversations with you about this.”

Later another representative asked Snow, “What objection could you possibly have to obligate a doctor to transport a child born alive to a hospital where it seems to me they would be most likely to be able to survive?”

Snow said Planned Parenthood was concerned about "those situations where it is in a rural health care setting, the hospital is 45 minutes or an hour away, that’s the closest trauma center or emergency room. You know there’s just some logistical issues involved that we have some concerns about.”
