Intercontinental war

Conflict has become the love of many nations thus making the world to be at arms lenght with peace. I wonder a lot if  the world powers are sleeping or pretending to be sleeping. Wars are flying around in many nations of the world and the big nations are enjoying the video clips and folding their arms. It is really bad and unbelievable. A classical example is what is happening in Syria. Big nations can just end this war within days but they have deliberately resigned to watching the war on TV. They should remember that "the decay of the roots of a tree is a pointer to the death of the branches no matter how far or near they are to the base ".

We are in the beginnings of the end of time.  The devil has reign over the earth right now and he is rounding up his flock. We may not see it in our lifetime, but the birthpangs have started and there isn't anything we can do to stop it.  Sad.

      How could they end it?

There is talk of western nations supplying arms to Syrian rebels, which is simply going to escalate the violence.

Others say the two factions should deal with it themselves and the only western involvement should be in the form of humanitarian aid

Edit: war would not happen if men (and I use the word  'men' on purpose) stopped pushing against one another and instead resolved to find a peaceful solution. However, these 'revolutions' begin as sport - young men throwing missiles at their enemy and/or damaging property. The police and military step in and you have a war.
