What kind of society are we living in? This is the United States of America, and the police are acting like they can do what they want, the same way our government thinks it's okay to spy and write memos about how it's legal to torture and kill American citizens.
Police brutality is nothing new. I'm skeptical of our drome killing program, but I don't have any sympathy for Awlaki because he had, in effect, declared war on the United States. I would like an explanation why we killed his young son. The other drone strikes may well be creating more terrorists than they are killing. I don't like NYC's stop and frisk approach at all. We stopped doing that in Detroit a long time ago.
