The attack on Obamacare is to keep money in the hands of the wealthy. But the wealthy will call off the battle, that includes a government shutdown, when the DOW Industrial Average drops from today's closing of 15,129 to `11,000. That will mean 2 trillion in losses and the wealthy will begin to sober up to the fact that the middle class want to have guaranteed health care.
What do you think? Is there some other determinant involved?
What, you think the uber rich are all sitting at home, watching for that magic number, whereupon they immediately pick up the phone in a panic and instruct their pet politician to end the shutdown? And that politician immediately calls congress to order and produces a favorable vote?
