Something has to be done regarding the issue of child abuse not only in the Roman Catholic Church but in all religious institutions. Many abused children in the Roman Catholic Church have reported this to their parents for years. However, many parents staunchly refuse to believe that priests and monsignors as so-called representatives of God on earth would hurt a child/
Many parent refuse to acknowledge that there are priests and other religious authority who "do such things" so the issue is swept under the rug. The pope and the Catholic authorities realize how the Catholic laity defers to them so they believe that they have carte blanche to act with imperiously. Roman Catholics have to stop giving their individual power away and take their power back!
Who knows. Because most people aren't going to click on a random link they know nothing about.
