Of course no one admits it when the answers are based upon Political Correctness , no matter what the issue , no matter what the cause , or the debate . When this P.C. part of the crowd begins its usual rants it throws all reason to the wind . Just where does P.C. come from ? Is P.C. is simply the bastard child of laziness and apathy ?
I believe using the easy answers , these cultist uniform opinions are tantamount to saying simply " I don't know the answer , or I don't have the time to research , or I'm simply too lazy to do the work so I'll use the standard partisan opinions as my crutch ". Thereby giving anyone the ability to argue a point without doing the hard thinking to come up with an original opinion , answer or solution . This P.C. stunt seems most available in the political and social issues threads of forums .
Do you think that ignoring P.C.is enough or should it always be called out plainly , by labeling an issue or answer as such or do we ignore and argue reason to the best of our ability ? Does anyone know where this term began . P.C.?
and get back to us.
Kathryn , I never realized that P.C. was such an old term for one , which makes me sad that it's so commonly used ! Oh well ! Guess its time for another forum war ! Off we go !
Isn't Political Correctness like porn? Different definitions from different folks? Who would you have as arbiters?
