If Trumpsters knew that Trump as President would result in a third World War and catastrophe, if there was a sure way to show, is it safe to say that many of them would support him anyway?

Knowing then, that if they voted for someone else, they could help keep peace in the world, would they vote for that other person or are some people just aching for blood?

I know some people enjoy his policies and are not in it for the blood, but would they also still vote for him, if they 100% knew it would end in the US in a massive yet avoidable war? If so, why?

I am also not asking for people to say "it won't end badly". I have set a scenario and want to know the view of trump supporters.

I don't think any large group of people are 'aching for blood'. I do think that with all of the saber rattling going on in the world that people are scared and that would lead them to vote for a more hawkish person as president. They'd vote for someone who wants to rebuild the military as opposed to tearing it down or scaling it back.

I am not, nor can I envision a scenario where I could ever be a Trump supporter but I'm afraid if the world news continues to look so bleak that it will be a boost for him at the polls.

How would Tump  end up in war anymore than say Bernie ?   Imagine  as naive a  leader of the free world as Bernie  trying to stand up to  China ? I don't !   Time to bone up on reality !

And what makes you think that Trump is qualified to stand up to China outside of his Benito Mussolini brag and swagger?

LOL, Bernie has had a consistent message for 30 years that goes against the rich and powerful, and now he's finally being heard, and you're worried about China?  Trump couldn't even handle Megyn Kelly without crying.

Hopefully, the next president will build up the US Military Forces again to where we and our allies can live in peace.  From what I have read from experts, we are leading up to WWIII now.

How many more countries need to join in the war in Syria before it is a World War?

Franklin Graham said,  "Is the world imploding? While the United States is focused on its own politics, the world is unraveling. The danger signals are everywhere. Beheadings, rapes, murders, bombings are taking place every day across North Africa through the Middle East, all the way to the borders of India. The U.S. military is deploying fighter aircraft to Finland to counter Russia’s moves in that region; China is deploying missiles on an artificial island they have built in the south China sea over the objections of the international community; and North Korea has successfully test fired a long-range missile that has the potential of eventually reaching America with a nuclear bomb. A few days ago, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said we have slid back into a “Cold War.” There’s a global epidemic of political and economic instability...."

Its plain foolish to think because Trump wins this election , that the world is in danger . I realize its a scenario , Yet NOW we have the Pope checking in with his REAL opinion of America  and in particular Trump building a wall at the border !   The Pope as much as called trump a Non-Christian !    The Pope would do very well to first , tear down the wall around the famous Vatican .  Secondly , to keep the nose of the papal opinions out of American politics .

America , Is without a doubt  one of the most philanthropic countries in the world , Both as a nation with foreign aid and as a people with a gifted  history of just plain caring about all people, both financially and  culturally  !       If the pope wants to get into politics and change the  course of  governments and their people , He might start in his own homeland .   South America  for instance , is the pit of humanity when it comes to  poverty  , politics , graft and corruption !

Mr Pope ,  first ,clean up your own house !

As to Trump and The  "Lefts " opinion of his instability ?   Trump  , like the man or not , IS the quintessential uprising in America  of a people  who are tired of  a  royal ,reign of senate , congress   AND a white house who have so distanced themselves from it's people , you and I the voters ,    This is merely the beginning of an uprising by the voters and perhaps   the coming of an "in the streets " cultural revolution .  Are you ready for that ?

ahorseback, I read some about how communists infiltrated the Catholic Church in 1958.  I remember admiring the CC when I was younger because it stood for morality, but that is a thing of the past especially with Jesuit Pope Francis. He won't even take a stand against abortion. The CC use to be firm on that being a sin.

The Catholic Church use to be the leader on moral issues.

Anyway, supposedly with the communist invasion of the church there where initially 1100 communist homosexuals and pedophiles that infiltrated, who worked their way up to high positions... That would explain some things that are not morally right, in my opinion and according to God's will.

The pope should know that in Biblical days people built walls, and that God told Israel to build a wall.  Instead of saying Trump isn't Christian because he has a vision to build a wall, he should build bridges to Trump because he might be president.  He's kind of cutting his own nose off to spite his face there, beside showing his true colors.  Its too much political drama from a role-player who isn't a citizen of the US. I have no respect for that pope.

I'm sorry if that offends anyone, just saying.  Evidently, the CC isn't the only church that communists have invaded over the years.  That would help explain why so many so-called Christian churches have such different doctrines...that cause divisions in communities, instead of uniting.

Unity is a strong spiritual foundation.  Frances isn't trying to unit people, rather, I think he is trying to get a communist elected.  But, Bernie the Bum is a little better then Hillary, if it comes down to that.  Socialism, you make it, they take it!

Senator Bernie Sanders was a bum who didn't have a job until he was 40 years old. One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps. He tried carpentry but...he wasn't any good at it.

Then, Bernie became a free-lance writer, writing articles about masturbation and rape for $50 per article.

His friends say he was always good at talking non-stop about socialism, and how the rich were ripping everybody off.  So!  He tried politics and started his own socialist party.  After several attempts Bernie the Bum finally wormed his way into the senate in 2006.

The Burn wants to steal from the rich to play Santa Clause.
At least Bernie isn't a hypocrite...and gets my respect for that, alone.
The political war we are in is really about capitalism vs socialism.

All of these Bernie Sanders facts are verified on several articles and videos.  smile

A critical mind might look at an article that starts this way as a possible hit piece.  He didn't have a "job" yet one of his first "jobs" was registering people for food stamps.   Verifiable facts?  May I ask where you verified them?  Just wondering how you do this, since you have repeatedly stated you'll try to "do better" about posting misinformation (the polite word) on these forums.

Donald Trump was a bum until daddy gave him a million dollars.  See how that works?

      1. Credence2 profile image79
Credence2posted 8 years agoin reply to this

Yes, this 'captain of industry', Donald Trump inherited close to 40 millions. I think that most of us having that kind of money fall into our laps could avoid 'screwing the pooch'.

He  declared bankrupcy 3-4 times, doublecrossing thousands of people along the way. He says it was just business decisions. HOw many times does the guy on the street gets to file bankruptcy and still get a second bite at the apple?

He creates this 'phony' Trump University, to take advantage of suckers that think that they can duplicate Trumps extraordinary success of having 40 million handed to him. What a great head start.

His ego know no bounds. If Trump does not recognize it or understand it, it simply cannot exist. Of course, he is able to force American corporations to bring the jobs home..

His brilliant intuition is more credible than years of Statescraft from experts when he says that he could negotiate a better Iran deal or get Putin to stand down. I guess we are all just supposed to awed by his sheer presence, I sure Putin will be as well.

Using the tactics of the most deplorable 20th century tyrants to define our fellow citizens and neighbors as enemies within our very midsts, is part of his "making America Great Again".

Sanders is at least authentic and was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He has a half century record of dealing with the underserved, whether it was popular or not. Some people merely wear the mantle when it is convenient, but it is what Sanders is. All this while, Trump send his boys to Africa to big game hunt and bring back trophies.  Fine example he sets. To whom more is given, more is expected.

There is only one 'bum' in this contest and it begins with Trump and ends with Rump...

I have read several articles and listened to some videos about Bernie being a Bum. They are all fairly repetitive.  So!  I just touched on some of the facts that stood out to me.

He isn't someone I want running the country with his past history.

Bernie isn't planning on stealing from Peter to pay Paul, he plans on stealing from Peter and pay Peter....  IslandBites, I would think that would be more of a concern to anyone.

Not even close to the Truth ~ No doubt, Hillary has the Advantage over Senator Bernie Sanders but he'll stay in for the foreseable future ~ Hillary or Bernie, either highly qualified individual will be the NEXT President of the United States and will continue to BUILD & Strengthen every aspect of this country which President Obama started 7 years ago ~ smile

It's apparent, Bigot Trump has Serious Psycholocical Problems, his Mind is not right which means he has already been Disqualified from holding the Presidency, at least that's true here in America ~ Maybe he could try running for a Dictatorship in Afghanistan, the Requirements there are much more favorable for his kind of Demented Thinking ~

      Those are wise words.

Donald Trump does a lot of things for people that people don't hear about on mainstream media...he is always doing things to help people in need. He is a generous giver, a compassionate man with a long track record of going about doing good deeds for others.  He isn't some demonized guy like the mainstream media liberals makes him out to be .... BTW, some of them are waking up and saying, Hey, Donald Trump is right!

We are to judge someone by their fruits, and Trump is a humanitarian and generous man.  He gives, and gives, and gives to help people with his own money, and employs thousands of people.  People are stepping up and talking about Trump's track record of generosity and kindnesses.

That is where the rubber hits the road folks!

Jerry Falwell Jr. told Hannity about some good things Donald Trump has done.
