I never thought I'd say , I miss the sixties , I am ashamed of today.

    I was there , unlike the millennial and X -er  crowds of today .  Let me explain what was THERE   that is sorely lacking HERE !

    - A  real divide between generations and ideologies ,  NOT an invented one of;
    - A social conscience , not an entitled one .
    -A government conspiracy , Not a government of P.C.
    -A love of  debate and discussion , Not an outshouting one.
    -A younger generation ignited and enlightened by the possibility of positive change , not selfishness .
    -A real enemy , Not an invented one for  the  mass progression of " I want ........"[name your want]
    -A education system that taught reason , Not one that demands selfishness.
    -A Congress that listened ,Not one that avoided

    Today's socio-political movements are all phony.

    Ed, I'd go back to those days in a minute. It has only been a downhill slide (in most areas) ever since.

    I think today is way more interesting than those weird days. We are on the brink of SOMETHING!  Something unlike the Pink Panther Sixties and the Play Misty for Me Seventies and the Roaring Reagan Eighties, the Devastating Nineties and the Oopsy Oh-Oh's ...
    and here in the Twenty-Teens …
    I mean W O W  ! ! !
    We are, after all, still growing up!
