Forgive me if I am wrong, but surely 9/11 was the last terror attack against the USA? That was 8 years ago, maybe you could say that it has stopped?

Since 9/11 there have been terror attacks in France, Spain, England, China, Japan and even Iran.

Personally I feel as if America should stop feeling like the victim, stop seeking attention and revenge against the 'evil' and appreciate that terrorism is a global thing.

They can then start by showing other countries some respect. The whole nation watched Michael Jackson's cringeworthy memorial service on 7/7. Thanks a lot guys, the fourth anniversary of the 7/7 attacks. Imagine what American's would think if we did something similar on 9/11.

Diplomacy, respect, an awareness of the world. Unite the world againt certain terrorist elements, and it can be erradicated. Push the world away and they will watch you fail.

I agree with some of your points ,and you have every right to your opinion.
I agree there have been tragedies and more deaths besides 9/11,actually in India shortly before as well.
I tend to think 'diplomacy'  was lacking in the tone of your last post though, and perhaps its your delivery that is prickly.

I guess you feel quite strongly about your opinions though.

Just because media were consumed with MJ's funeral does not mean official Government sites are not aware of 'other significant events.
Actually  as I recall country leaders were attending the G8 meeting not MJ's funeral.
Certainly Pres Obama was in Russia ,on or shortly after.

And since time zones are totally different,it really was not the same day was it?

I guess Michael could have been more considerate and chosen another date to die.
( I fail to see why you used his funeral as an example of Americans not caring)?

I am not referring to the day that MJ died Eaglekiwi, that cannot be helped. I am talking about his money spinning, us government backed, national funeral and memorial service for MJ. Which was attended by senior members of the American government and broadcast worldwide. It was on live around the world, including the UK, on the same day as our 7/7 memorial. I can 100% guarentee that our government would ensure that we did not have the memorial/funeral of Prince Charles, the Queen or Elton John on 11th September. I can assure you of that.

The destiny of any country including the USA rests upon their formation, ie, how the country came into being. USA was formed in 18th century after violently suppressing the native red-Indians. The right of possession of any territory should be justifiable and beyond questioning. The formation of USA is full of terrorism, violation of human rights, genocide, etc. So, they are destined to reap what they sowed some centuries ago. If they are ever vigilant and continue to be the leading power, they can sustain their nationhood, even if terrorists have an eye on them. OR else, they should initiate and destroy terrorists all over the world. Recession, depression, etc. will really mean the beginning of the end.

Its hard to think that outside terrorist attacks may stop, since we have so many local terrorist.  Eco-terrorist, abortion terrorists, OK bombing, KKK, neo-nazis.  Remember what a terrorist is.  It is not necessarily, and often isn't foreign.  It is a person who uses terror to affect change.  Gangs are terrorist, they use terror to prevent their communities from speaking up against them, Mafia are terrorist for the same reason.  Almost all organized crime are terrorists, we don't worry much about them because they usually stick to their own community.  Political movements that use violent force are terrorists.  As long as people believe terrorism will work, it will keep going on.

You only need look at the false flag attacks perpetrated by
the US military to know that the US tops the world in terrorist
    acts.

    Where do we begin?
Remember the Maine??  How about the attack on Pearl Harbor?
they knew it was coming and did nothing, put their military in
harm's way so that people would die and we could enter the
    war.

So yes, necessarily we should be ever vigilant even against those
who are at the head of the government here.

Kennedy made 5 speeches against the CIA blackops and the FBI and
the illuminati, for this those who wished to be in power Bush, et.
all murdered him in broad day light.

And the good people of the United States did nothing.  No one
    stood up and demanded justice,

they let the magic bullet theory fly...

here's a tidbit from this nut case:

JFK Jr. filed court papers charging George Herbert Walker
Bush with the murder of his father, John F. Kennedy,  this
is now public knowledge......he died in an apparent plane
crash...not unlike certain Senators from Minnesota, or 5
Saudi princes.....and this only 10 days after he filed
    in court.

This country has perpetrated it's own terrorism against the
world, fake attacks to murder millions in Iraq and Afghanistan,
    and now Pakistan.....

don't believe that the US military is practicing genocide against middle eastern peoples? Just go to amnesty international
    and read the numbers.....

that's what terrorism is....none do it better than US
