In another display of blatant arrogance, Pelosi called those who dare to voice their opposition to the proposed health care bill "un-American." In an editorial in USAToday she pays lip service to democracy and freedom of expression and then goes on to demonstrate disdain for those principles and for the 'little people' who would 'dare' to raise their voices over something of great importance to them and their families.
The message from the administration and congressional democrats: Sit down, shut up, and WE will tell YOU how it's going to be!
So this is what it must have felt to live through the McCarthy era.
