Andhra Chief Minister will be remembered for ever as the one who brought prestige to the post of Chief Minister in Andhra, as no one has occupied that office for full five years. The infighting in Congress party made frequent changes and in turn gave rise to a new political phenomenon called NTR. Before NTR, it was only a matter of months that a CM can hope to be CM. The rival group would complain to high command and there will be a change. YSR has changed all that and brought stability to that post. The days of the congress high command's menial treatment of Andhra leaders has gone with Mr.T.Anjaiya, (the last Congress CM before YSR) and has brought respect to Andhra Congress and Andhra people in general.
It is common human tendency to seek wealth whereever we are placed. Higher places give more wealth. That is all.
But In YSR's case, he is the first non-Hindu politician to earn the liking of common poor people irrespective of religion or caste. He may be termed as a phenomenon in Indian history. 99% of mourners are Hindus.... But YSR is a Christian... Strange?
YSR has lived his life as long as HE wished. The wife of Grahan Stains, Australian Bishop, killed by tribals in Orissa said "No one can live more than the time allotted to him". YSR has ended his worldly life and has entered the celestial world. Will the Andhra people treat the place of his killing as a holy place? ... without religious and caste base?
