No. I am not all that fussed about the question, to be honest. But for the record, wasn't it Ronald Reagan who helped us stay out of nuclear war via exactly such talks? Wasn't it Richard Nixon who visited China? In other words, Nixon was not a good president, I think we can agree, but even I can find something good he did.
Even Bush (God rest his soul, oh, he's not dead yet, dang...), surely did some good stuff somewhere; I mean, for example, even though I suspect that all that glitters is not gold, he did do some things to help the AIDS pandemic in Africa...
The question is silly. Maybe you don't like the closure of Guantanamo, but let me assure you as a non-American it has eased tensions internationally, no question, so that is a good thing. Maybe you don't like health care reform (and I don't know the details, but I suspect it will be a compromise along the lines of his usual compromising, to be frank, letting corporations hold you all by the scruff of the neck, in other words)..., but God knows you folks deserve the same quality of care enjoyed by the rest of the developed world, don't you think? So SOME kind of change is required...

So, surprise surprise, he is less than adequate. In your wildest dreams did you ever expect anything else? ...from any presidential candidate. I promise you McCain's record would probably have been pretty similar...
... But, in one sense, this is a good thing. It means that you folks down there are protected from true dictators. It means, no matter what a president's agenda, there is always compromise involved -- resulting in shabby results, often, tis true.
