    I like the idea.  My question is are we going to free up the police and military enough to actually find people who do not belong here?  No sense in having national ID if illegal aliens still can't be found and removed.

    I wish they would develop something like this in Canada for people like me who don't have drivers licenses, for ID purposes. Nothing to do with the illegal alien scapegoat argument.

    Well, if you lived here you would understand illegal aliens are a real problem but I guess since Vietnam ended fewer people try to get into Canada illegally so it isn't an issue there.
