This ham said he would leave the U.S. for its colony in Costa Rica if health care reform passed....

I'm ready to drive him to the airport... Anyone wish to join me on our little trip?

He said he would get his health care in Costa Rica.  He never said he would leave.

I am sure Rush could afford to get his healthcare anywhere he would like.

      He owns his own plane.

Like he would need a ride from you.

ha ha ha he said today that he didn't mean he was gonna move to costa rica but that he was gonna start going there for his health care. Sounds like more right wing talk out of both sides of their mouth, mumbo jumbo. Some how the truth eludes them ha ha ha from this point forward if they tell you their name, immediately turn and ask someone else.

I like the way he is talking about going to a country which has proven that a natonal health care service works, because he disagrees with america getting anywhere close to a national healthcare service.

  2. mikelong profile image62

I heard him say that he would leave....I watched the clip..

Has his own plane? I'll take the drug inspectors over to check his bags for illegal prescription drugs....it seems as though he had his own "personal" health care plan going for a bit too long..

Hey...he may not like his views...but I will get him out of the country safely..

I heard the whole show the day he said it.

Why hate on Rush.  A simple entertainer.  Is he that important?

He is only relevant because he says the things that his opponets want to say but do not have the guts to say for themselves.

Then they can play a sound byte of him while they Tsk Tsk on camera.

    mikelongposted 14 years ago

I don't call him an entertainer....he is an instigator...

    http://www.internationalliving.com/Coun … ealth-Care

It's funny that Limbaugh would run away to a place that has health care in a very similar fashion to what the United States is trying to do....  What a loon this many is..

    1. Arthur Fontes profile image73
Arthur Fontesposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Costa Rica allows doctors to open private clinics.

How can he be an instigator?  Why wouldn't his opponets just ignore him?

I know because just the name "Rush Limbaugh" means higher ratings.

  5. mikelong profile image62
    mikelongposted 14 years ago

Good point Arthur....However, I don't know how easy it would be for him to run off to Costa Rica everytime he needed to get a medical test done...

Then again...his stupidity is very profitable for him....he could always go to Cuba...who has superior health care to Costa Rica...those darn commies..

Will doctors not be able to have private clinics now?  From what I have heard on the chambers of the house floor...and even Limbaugh's mouth, private doctors will still be able to exist...

I admire Rush but I admire him as a fantastic salesman.  I will bet he receives the highest paying endorsements in talk radio.

I know Rush used to be based in New York.  When the state raised the income tax Rush moved his whole company to Florida.

Yes, he is wealthy and influential and you are sitting there typing away in impotent anonymity and the dead-end pursuit of an unwarranted feeling of self importance.

      Which one is stupid?

Then maybe we can swing by and pick up Beckles the Clown...that dude is WAY in need of a vaca!!

Good bye Russshhhh, can't say it's been real nice, but it's been real.
Hope the new country treats you with the same respect and consideration you've given your own.

Yes-he's a real instigator all right. And it's infuriating all the free time he's given to spew his vitriol.

Hey big rush---you WON'T be missed.
Don't let the door hit ya on the way out. Wouldn't want to hurt the thing that made you famous for being one!

Good Riddance....NEXT. Klannity? O'really? Ingrateaham? They all can go. After all, it's the PUBLIC airwaves, and we the people have not been represented. Only we the Right-Wing.

It's Obama and Pelosi and Frank who should leave the country, along with any other unpatriotic communistic tyrants.

Let 'em go somewhere where the masses perhaps WANT to be tyrannized.

  8. lovemychris profile image77
    lovemychrisposted 14 years ago

Gee Brenda...member when it was unpatriotic to insult the president? And especially in a time of war...
    What happened to that?
I mean, El Rushbo himself used to rail like a bagpipe about the war protesters....phew-he was nasty!
And now, you can say anything....
Twisted Virtue, that's what it is.
just like your patriotism. It only applies when you agree.
And we were plenty tyrannized under Bush.
Focus on the Family determined our radio listening,  the oil companies determined our energy bill and the neo-cons determined our foreign policy.
Tyrannized by the Right...for 8 long horrible years.

If you consider yourself a patriot, you should respect the decision your fellow Americans made and stop whining about it. You lost, Tuff ! Waaa Waaa Waaaa. You don't always get what you want.
    That's life.
But I'm sure Big Rush has room for you at the ranch in CR....low taxes, you can treat the help like real dirt.

    1. profile image0
Brenda Durhamposted 14 years agoin reply to this

      I'm not whining at all.
I'm telling it like it is.
You've apparently been listening to so much liberal crap that you think EVERYONE's a whiner.

      Republicans in general don't whine.
      We state things boldly.

And it is YOU who treats people like dirt with your nasty racist insinuations.

  9. lovemychris profile image77
    lovemychrisposted 14 years ago

Or let's have a big party!
    We aren't all that different.

We can all prosper here...it doesn't take a genius to figure it out!
Just let go and let god.....
    Stop hoarding and share.

We are all human beings aren't we?
It's not like we are all different species.

In Sweden they do it right...imo
Everyone has the basic safeguards, and the opportunity for an education....then you take it from there! It's a much higher standard of living despite all the socialism smear-mongering. And they are Capitalistic too...they combine the 2.
It's up to the individual ingenuity and drive, versus whether you have enough money or not.

    1. profile image0
Brenda Durhamposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Then why don't you go "do it" in Sweden, since you're so happy about their setup?

    2. profile image0
LegendaryHeroposted 14 years agoin reply to this

It's not unpatriotic to insult the president, however insults do nothing productive, if somebody wants to say something about the president the least they can do is say it in a non-insulting manner. Insults only take away from one's points.

  12. mikelong profile image62

That is true....and I don't know how long he'll be on parole for...if he still is..

Good point... A felon convicted on drug charges traveling back and forth from Central America in a private plane....hilarious..

Sneak...when you put out garbage like "should the U.S. annex Mexico" you are asking for my comment.. But, at the same time, your creating such stuff furthers the points that I make...so...I'll just leave my quick opinion on ones like that and focus my energies elsewhere...like the other post on Mexico that no one has commented on in awhile...

I left some excellent info back there..not all the ideas may be the best developed...but I am just a common person..

Look if you don't like what I write don't read it. I promise my name will be next to my avatar so you'll know I wrote it and it's all bull-shit, ok pal. If you don't have something to contribute then just move on, it's really that easy.

    That's a nasty habit.

My comments have nothing to do with my choice....I have an obligation to pull the b.s. card where I see it.  Just because you wish to pollute minds with nonsense and give Americans a bad name doesn't mean that I will stand idly by.....  My choice is to call many of your comments ridiculous.

I contribute to the outcry against the ignorance that you trumpet through some, if not most, of your threads in this forum section concerning Mexico..
