In some ways, a MILESTONE. However, IT DOESN'T GO FAR ENOUGH (e.g. people who are permanently incapacitated by say, Down's Syndrome). OK, this is sure to be a contentious topic. LET THE DEBATE BEGIN

...a partisan mistake. both sides have screwed up and now the people will pay the prices for their screw ups...that's government for ya!

there are already court cases in cue to protest this affront to liberty of citizens that view it as such, and another cozy, socialized acceptance by those that view it that way.

i would rather work hard for what I need and want than be handed something that make me a slave to someone else's perspective on life. The whole idea of having fears of getting sick makes you sick  and vulnerable to illness...and then to pay for others who don't take care of their health is not liberty.

I donate to charities, most are equitable in how they serve others in need...makes more sense to me.
