Democrats and health care reform advocates will focus on the fact that healthcare reform will "cover more" whil healthcare reform opponents and Republicans will push the notion that it "COSTS more".

The "notion" that it will cost more! LOL! We all know it will cost more and I said so long before this was passed. This bill did NOTHING to contain costs, NOTHING! The "estimates" by the CBO are a sham! This bill is going to cost at LEAST one TRILLION dollars A YEAR!!! Every Year once it's fully up and running, and believe me, it's going to go up from there!! HOW is America going to afford this?? Soon the interest payments on our debt will be 1 trillion a year. With a budget of 4 trillion dollars this year in the next few years we will only have enough revenue to pay medicare and social security and NOTHING ELSE!!! Today, right now, every man woman and child in this country owes 350,000 dollars to cover the liabilities of our government.

Yeah but the question is are we getting quality for our money?  In a socialized system there is now way to tell if you're getting the best deal for your money, you just have to accept what you're given.

Cover more cost more yes but that isn't all that they're saying. They are saying costs will still rise. Remember this bill was supposed to "bend" the cost curve, yeah right! Only in democrat land can you cut the deficit by spending more, create jobs by giving money away, and bend cost curves by increasing demand.

Of course it will cost more.  You are forcing known problems into the system.

When a person who has a known illness is put into a risk pool of healthy people... the costs go up.

The question isn't will it cost more, the question is HOW MUCH MORE and who will pay for it?

It's already been shown that the young with few health problems will see a huge rise in premiums for those who are older with known health problems.
