Can you please tell me the differences in the Republican Party verses the Democratic Party? They both sound the same to me!
You're American - you're suppose to know the difference. So the Republicans represent buisness, and the Democrats are suppose to represent everybody else.
But in reality they both represent big buisness and the oligarchy, whether individual members know it or not.
We have a saying in England:
"American politics is just like British politics. They have a two party system. There is the Republican party .... which is like our conservative party.
And they have the Democratic party....... which is like our conservative party."
Of course, I can't tell the difference between the Labour party, or the Conservative party.
Welcome to the party.
